Elysium Belly Dance

Oklahoma belly dancer, Perizad, is well loved for her ability to engage her audiences and brighten celebrations. Her passion for belly dance coupled with her innate musicality make Perizad a captivating and dynamic performer sure to delight audiences.

A seasoned entertainer, Perizad’s love of performing arts started in her youth. She spent many years studying music, theater and improv. In 2007, Perizad became captivated by the grace and sensuality of belly dance and began taking classes at the Belly Dance Academy of Tulsa. Since then, she has had the opportunity to study with such masters as Mahmoud Reda of Egypt, Sabah of the Bellydance Superstars, Princess Farhana, Sandra, Amanda Rose, Vanessa of Cairo, and Sahar Samara.

Perizad was voted RAWartists Tulsa's 2012 Performance Artist of the Year. She has performed in both the US and Canada and has been a featured dancer at multiple locations in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Perizad was honored to star in an opening act for the Bellydance Superstars’ 2011 Club Bellydance tour. In 2016, Perizad won 4th place in the Yellow Rose of Texas International Belly Dance Competition.

In 2013, Perizad founded Elysium Belly Dance, and offers lessons to students of all ages. Devoted to keeping its cultural traditions alive, Perizad continually seeks to perfect her belly dance technique while sharing her love of this beautiful art form with students and audiences alike. Whether at weddings, corporate events, parties, festivals or fundraisers, Perizad is sure to charm audiences of all ages.
