I am well rounded drummer and percussionist. I play everything from drumset, to orchestral to percussion, to world percussion. I have degrees in Music Performance and Music Education. I can read music and charts and I have a natural ear for listening. I can fill in on a gig last minute, or I can put my own band together for covers, jazz, or anything really. I have been playing drums for over 15 years and I can literally play anything.

As a percussionist, you can expect a professional demeanor on the stage both in appearance and attitude. Sight reading is strongest in snare and auxiliary. I also play mallet instruments quite well.
As a drummer, you can expect me to learn songs fast. I have a solid groove and I can step out of the pocket only when needed. If there is a certain style you need, I can accommodate that.
Did I mention that I sing backups as well?
Hello! Since I was a young kid, music has been a part of my life in so many ways. It has helped inspire me to succeed and it has allowed me to see parts of the world I would have never seen before. My passion for music extends beyond the stage as I am also a music educator. I love sharing my knowledge and passion for music with the world.
I first started my musical journey as a Drumset player playing in local rock bands. The highlight of my young career was getting to play with, record with, and tour with a professional ska band from (phone number hidden)8. That was my first real taste of the music industry. We played hundreds of shows, toured in and out of the country, and recorded albums that were produced by quality names in the scene. We were also signed to a couple mid-level record labels.
As that project fizzled out, I found myself hitting a wall musically. It was at this time I made the life-changing decision to return to school for my undergrad. I decided music education and performance was the best option for me. At the university I learned the other world of music. I became a classically trained musician and learned the fine art of orchestral percussion. I also learned and succeeded in jazz and world percussion as I have played many jazz and percussion gigs in my local area. I have also played with many orchestras and wind ensembles in the SoCal area.
I currently am receiving my undergrad degree in Music Education at CSULA. This has helped me understand music on an even deeper level and has allowed me to share my knowledge and skills with other learners. As an educator I have helped even myself become a better musician through learning proper practice techniques and building my own confidence.
Today, I play anything percussion related. There isn't a drum I haven't touched and I wouldn't have it any other way. I like gigging when I can and I can fill whatever percussion related spot you need.
I have some auxiliary percussion equipment. I have 2 full drumsets, one acoustic, one electric.
