Hey! My name is Emily, and I am a freelance makeup artist/licensed cosmetologist based in the Boston area. My experience ranges from soft/natural makeup, to bold/dramatic makeup, and even basic special effects makeup. For the past 3 years and counting, I've served clients for photo shoots, film, runway, stage performances, and events.
Makeup is one of the most malleable forms of self expression. Our emotions, personalities, and experiences ebb and flow day to day, and we can use makeup to express ourselves differently every day. That is by far one of my favorite things about makeup, not to mention that I just have fun doing it!
Emily was great to work with. She understood my needs and how to create a stylish look! She is very meticulous and took great care and attention in understanding what I wanted. The end result was fantastic and looked great in pictures!

Emily is so talented and accommodating and has such a warm personality. I wanted my wedding makeup done the way South Asian brides usually wear makeup (very heavy). I showed her some pictures, and she exceeded all expectations in capturing the look. Everyone loved her work. Highly recommended.
Emily did a great job working as a makeup artist and wardrobe on a film set a couple of weeks ago. She was in charge of dressing and organizing a large group of people who were extras for the film as well as the principle cast. She did such a great job and the film had the perfect aesthetic. The crew and I were all very pleased. I will continue working with Emily and many others should as well!
