My name is Emily Rose and I am a proud Ferris State graduate. I have my bachelors in Business with an emphasis in Hospitality Management. Throughout college I was heavily involved on campus which is where my passion for event planning really grew into more and I decided to pursue it as a career. By day, I am a prep cook for Creative Dining. I fell into the kitchen by accident in college and it has been hard for me to leave. I really do enjoy cooking for myself and others. Being in the kitchen has also given me a deeper understanding and appreciation for front of the house, back of the house and management. I have seen a lot of different issues arise time and time again in different ways and it is always interesting to see how each person handles them more unique than the last. It has given me a greater appreciation for peoples individual quarks.

I love event planning for the very reason. No one is going to look at an idea; table scape, buffet layout, food order, in exactly the same way that you will and I love taking ideas that seem impossible and making them a reality. I have always been one to sit around a dream of crazy event themes and foods waiting for someone to let me bring them to life. Be that person. Let's have a ball.

I do have some preferred companies that I work with to contract out items I cannot take care of myself such as DJing/Live Bands and/or Photography. Should you already have a company in mind it is at your discretion if you would like me to reach out to my contact to see who can offer a better deal. Each matter will be handled on a case by case basis.
