She left the city in 2014 and based herself in Seoul, performing at jazz clubs while cementing herself as a burlesque performer. Erockfor, also known as Rocky, has been featured in Rolling Stone India, Popdust, Flaunt Magazine, Wonderland, Earmilk, MTV West Africa and XONecole. And, if kdramas are your jam, you can find her playing an American CEO on the Korean Drama “Search: WWW.”
In 2021, Erockfor released her debut album Phoenix, which fuses afrobeats, pop, house and jazz. Her highly distinctive voice has been compared to that of artists like Cyndi Lauper, Macy Gray, Erykah Badu and Amy Winehouse. She has since performed on stages in Seoul, Busan, Berlin, Amsterdam, Montreal and El Paso.
