I have did magic for over fifty years. I thought i had mastered my craft. I have did thousands of shows all over the mid-west. A young nephew asked me to mentor him. Very seldom do you find someone of 15 to take the time and effort to master this craft. It takes many hours of practice and much patience to perform at a high level. My nephew, Peyton O' Brien has accomplished that. He is Great and I'm proud to say he has passed his teacher.

Peyton came and entertained our guests for our wedding. He was a HUGE success and brought so many smiles and laughter to everyone there. I am beyond belief right now. Like just about everyone else, I couldn't fully put all of my trust into a 16 year olds hands. I decided he had to be good (based on his reviews). I recently saw Peyton at Hacienda, and he fooled me like no other! I asked for his business card, so he opened his wallet and it cought on fire! Hey! I'm Peyton the Magician. I'm 16, and have did magic for 3 years. (I wasted the first 13 years of my life...) Anyways the story continues. Back in 6th grade I found out how to do an INCREDIBLE card trick, well I thought it was incredible, but it was really just a pretty dumb mathematical trick. I showed my uncle who has fascinated me with his magic, my entire life. I continued to learn more magic by using YouTube, the public library, and meeting with my uncle. I agree my magic wasn't very good back then, so instead of having my family members ask me to perform, I usually had to force them to watch my magic show. After not being able to figure out my uncles magic tricks, I finally convinced him to teach me his magic act.... or I just snuck into his magic case, and figured it all out... One or the other! I continued to pursue my magic career after learning all of my new magic. It went from being a hobby, to being my life. I spent hours in my room practicing, practicing, and practicing. I even got in trouble at school for practicing magic during class! I often wowed my teachers using magic at school. I continued performing magic and was lucky enough to meet the manager of the Hacienda Mexican restaurant, and she gave me the opportunity to perform magic for the Hacienda Mexican restaurant, on the East side of Evansville, for one day, in the afternoon. I showed up and did my job, and unbeknownst to me, nearly every customer I performed for, asked to speak to the manager, and told her they where wowed, and very impressed by my magic, and would love to see me perform again. After the day was over, my manager talked to me, and told me about all the compliments she received, and that she would LOVE to book me for the rest of the year, and that I would perform every Friday night, at the restaurant. Through out the year, I made many great memories. From being offered to have "a bite" of the customers food, meeting a couple that helped build the building, who ate there every Friday for 25 years, to not being tipped, from a family that left a $100 tip, for the waitress! Every Friday I would have at least 10 customers tell me that they came out JUST to see ME. This made me smile every time. Through out this time, I auditioned for The Fall Festival. For those who don't know, this is the second largest street festival in the United States. About 100 acts auditioned and only 10 made it. I made it and got to perform on opening night, for over 2,000 people! I received 1st place! As my time at Hacienda was coming to an end, I had a big surprise ahead of me. Although I made friends with all the employees at Hacienda, multiple waitresses complained to my manager that I was "stealing there tips", and that it wasn't fair for me to be making more money in 2 hours ,than they do all day. My manager found this ridiculous ,and even said "if they want more money, they need to do there job better!" For the rest of my time with Hacienda, my paycheck was doubled, thanks to my manager. Not very long after this I had the opportunity to perform in "The Really Big Show" They select 1act to headline the show, by auditioning against over 500 people. The Really Big show Is pretty much what it says it is, A show that was really big! It was a show that was held at The Old National Events Plaza, and raised money for The Arc of Evansville. They were a non-profit organization that helped special needs children, and adults. This show sold out of 3,500 tickets in less than a day! I was offered to be paid, but I was the only act ,who did it out of the kindness of there heart. I'm just glad I could help. Later that year I auditioned for the Fall Festival again. This time the audition process was over 5 hours long, and had nearly 1,000 acts competing for 10 spots. I was lucky enough to pass onto the next round! I was the finale of the opening night again, and took home the gold, two years in a row! During my Eight grade year, I did lots of birthday party's for teens and kids. It sounds boring, but I can promise you, It wasn't! Fast forward to me now. I'm 16 years old, and perform magic everywhere I can. I'm one of the few magicians who took the time to write a biography about my life. I hope this shows you I take my business much more serious than anyone else in Indiana.
