Eventjazz provides the Southern Michigan with professional jazz groups and chamber musicians for weddings, memorials, corporate events, backyard parties, dinner hour, and many other functions. The band arrived early for setup, start on time and played the best jazz for the event. All the guests loved them and wanted their information.

Event Jazz was on time, played a great assortment of music, and had a great attitude despite 96 degrees temperatures for an outdoor August wedding (so sorry!!). I received numerous compliments from our wedding guests that the band did a great job, which is a huge compliment since many of guests are accomplished musicians themselves. They were easy to work with, responsive, and had an extensive repertoire of songs. Thank you, Event Jazz, for tolerating us and being so cordial despite the hot outdoor temperatures.

There is nothing better than watching someone enjoy their passion and these men LOVE what they do! They were wonderful to work with, so incredibly talented and made sure we got everything we wanted. I can not recommend Event Jazz enough for your next event.

American songbook, jazz standards...all played with musical expertise. Great bass, drums, piano, horn, and more! Great to work with. If you need really good musicians, these are your guys!
We wanted a small but good jazz band to play at our wedding on 2/15/14. We got that with this group. The venue was a small restaurant in Wixom where we had the place to ourselves and about 90 friends joined us for the mid day reception. Event Jazz were all set up and playing when the guests arrived to start the festivities with drinks and appetizers. As we moved into the restaurant area and everyone was settled, Event Jazz moved too into the open foyer area for all to hear their music while we ate. Their music was excellent and diversified. There was the bass player, a pianist, a horn, and a drummer. The music was easy listening as we'd requested. Several of our guests comments how great it was to have live music and not a DJ. Just what we wanted.

Rob was very easy to work with while setting up and staying flexible with our outdoor event. He brought a trio (bass, keyboard, drums) and played upbeat standards to put a nice flare on our company party. I got lots of compliments on the music throughout the night!
