Parris Claytor Balazs is the Founder, creative director, and lead planner of Eventfully Chic by Parris. She discovered her niche for event planning beginning in her teenage years. Leading up to planning weddings, she gained her years of experience directing various events as the marketing director of a multi-state law firm, including charitable functions, large corporate events, black-tie affairs, and other special occasions.
Parris became her very own first client when she said “YES!” in 2018! In true Parris fashion, she moved swiftly, becoming a Certified Wedding and Event Planner and securing all of her own wedding vendors within the first month of being newly engaged.
She married the love of her life on November 9th, 2019 in Lexington, South Carolina, and continues to thrive off of helping brides fulfill their wedding day dreams.
PLANNING WITH PURPOSE
Parris is passionate about giving back to the community and her interests don’t stop at planning weddings. Parris holds the position of Executive Events Director with 501c3 non-profit charity, The Honor Project, which has collectively donated over $100,000 since 2014 to support a number of local charities, including the South Carolina Special Olympics, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the Palmetto Health Foundation, South Carolina Police Department, South Carolina Fire Department, South Carolina EMS, the South Carolina Autism Society, Happy Wheels, the ColaJazz Foundation, and PAALS (Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services).
In continued efforts to support the community, with every wedding that is booked, Parris sends a personal note and donation to the newlywed's charity of choice along with a wedding photo of the couple. If permitted and applicable, included are the couple's Instagram handles so the charity can personally thank the couple on their social media channels for selecting them as their favorite charity.
