I am a very diverse actor, talented in stage, film and voice over. I have the ability to incorporate a great deal of improvisation and specialize in it, which makes me an ideal candidate for plays, interactive acts or freeform entertainment. I can do everything from serious to comedic, absurdist to straight forward, and children's entertainment to adult. I am guaranteed to leave smoldering sock in the ground.

Ryan is more than just a character, he is an invaluable part of the team. Having worked both in the back of the house, and out on stage, he has an intimate understanding of the needs of talent and crew, and always wishes to make the jobs of both as synergistic as possible. His creativity can help with design elements, and his brand experience can help emphasize brand points. When he is acting, you will see Ryan Miller completely melt away - and the only thing before you will be the character and its' palpable existence, no matter how absurd or mundane.
In his writing for any project, you will find the nuances of humanity, or the grips of brand storytelling.
And in hiring him, you will find an experience, and hopefully - catch the creative spirit.
Ryan Miller was born into a hard knock life - his inception triggered his mothers' latent paranoid schizophrenia, and three years later, he and his nine year old brother (who raised him) ended up living with their new step mother and increasingly-more-distant father. Within a whirlwind of abuse and neglect through his adolescence, Ryan and his brother turned to creativity as a solace. Wielding improvisation as his weapon, Ryan found himself a piece in many school film projects, and an active part of the local acting troupe. At the age of 18, while entering his senior year of high school, with a pending free ride to Harvard after graduation, Ryan found himself homeless. In homelessness, his relationships with friends deepened, his survival skills sharpened, and he spent two month learning the law to go up against the superintendent of his high school to get back in, and acquire his High School Diploma.
Ryan, at the age of 20, started more heavily diving into acting and writing, using his lived experiences as the catalyst to explore the interconnectivity of people and things within the world - seeing each script as a doorway that holds someone behind it, needing to breathe and set free. With his creative nature, and his ability to become a character, Ryan has had the honor of giving voice to the voiceless, and utilizing the art of theater, improv, and film to create ripples, challenge thoughts, and provoke emotion.
In furtherance of his study of people, and to imbibe in his enjoyment of getting to know the stories of people, Ryan began a profession as a travelling creative talent and promotional specialist. As a travelling brand ambassador, tour manager, event operations specialist, he has worked closely with many brands, developed a deep understanding of brand storytelling and identity, and has had the pleasure of working with many talented actors and actresses across the US. Now, with more than 15 years of acting under his belt, he is a graduate of Upright Citizens Brigade, has performed in 5 original plays, appeared in more than a dozen short and feature independent movies, and been highly praised by many a director and audience member.
Of his favorite roles, is that of Lucky, in Waiting For Godot for which he received standing ovation, and was favorably compared to Broadways' version. This role was one of Ryans' most challenging, but the accolades of this role continue to this day.
