Carolyn has been interested in beauty, fashion and makeup from a young age. Constantly reading, researching, and experimenting with styles, colors, textures. She started working as a freelance makeup artist in 2009 with friends and family, and then gaining jobs and exposure via word of mouth. She has been a working makeup artist in St. Louis, Scranton, Atlanta and she now lives and works in New York City and the Lower Hudson Valley, as well as upstate NY in the Binghamton/Utica/Syracuse area.

Her specialty has always been glamour and special events, as well as fantasy, but recently she has been branching out into the world of Bridal and Special Effects. She recently had the opportunity to work alongside makeup artist Meagan Hester on Halloween in NYC doing special effects for Webster Hell.

In 2015, Carolyn decided to take it further by going to school for Esthetics, and thusly educating herself on a deeper level skin physiology and ecology, as well as skin care and how to perfect the canvas in which she works. She earned her diploma from Capri School of Esthetics and Makeup, and then went on to earn her NYS License in Esthetics.

Carolyn is passionate about people and continuing her education. She is constantly taking any classes available to her through Sephora University and Make Up For Ever Academy. She also attended a class taught by Luis Casco, the lead makeup artist for Project Runway, in Dallas, Texas. Upcoming she plans to take classes at Yon-Ka Paris headquarters, Chic Studios NYC, and the International Dermal Institute.
