Face painting by Pattysweetcakes

When Pattysweetcakes is around something Fun is sure to happen! You may see a Zombie or a Princess walk out of my chair or see an 82 year old granny with a necklace of painted roses smile for the camera! You might see a hairless uncle walk away with dragon painted on his head or hear a group of six or seven kiddos cracking up at the silly things I say as I paint to keep the kids engaged! Most of all , you will see everyone having a lot of fun!

I grew up in Newark NJ (now i make Pottsville my home!!) and I've been drawing since I was 4! Growing up in the Ironbound it is easy to fall in love with different cultures that is how i picked up Portuguese!
When I attended Arts high, it was the first time I was called an "artist" and the first time I felt respect for what i could do with a pencil or brush! By working with other artist I discovered there were so many other ways to create art!

Now, as a mom and grandmother I love being around little ones and not so little ones and bringing smiles to all through my art! And my medium is Face paint and balloons!

I love when I walk into a party with a SNOW QUEEN balloon , a Gift Caricature in the child's favorite theme or that moment when my model looks in the mirror and you hear ''WOW!!!"

Pattysweetcakes really doesn't need a lot to give you a lot but here are some things i need!

Good lighting is a must! Place me somewhere where the lights will not be shut off on me or every one will look like a Jackson Pollock painting!

For safety's sake , don't place me near the food or near the DJ ! I love music like everyone else but having the speaker blasting in my ear will make it hard for me to understand what your guest want and i may turn a kid into a "Christmas ham" "instead or a "spider man!" It also prevents accidents with equipment!

And as much as it would be fun to be a arms stretch away from some of that yummy food, where ever Pattysweetcakes is there is bound to be a lot of little ones that can get tripped over by waiters or even guests carrying hot plates!
