I enjoyed the songs they covered from the 80s and 90s, it really took me back to the high school days. It was also great seeing families share good memories with music and dancing.
Band keeps everyone singing and dancing to great music! The drummer is cute too

Fun and family friendly live music for your events! Don't be surprised if your attendees sing along with our entire set. We're a group of musically gifted educators (and yes, dads), and we're flexible to accommodate your needs. Indoors at minimum volume? No problem. Outside for the whole neighborhood to enjoy? We got you. Wanna grab a mic and sing with us (lyrics provided)? More than welcome. Want to diversify your event with a DJ set complete with stage lights and effects? You bet. Our live performance set leans to the 80s & 90s but spans back much further and to the present. From pop, punk, and dance tunes to classic rock favorites, Famous Last Words will meet your event's all-around entertainment needs!
A trio of veteran performers, longtime friends Sim, Brad, and Ryan have embarked on the next chapter of their musical endeavours. We've all been playing music for a long time, and we still love it. Sim continues to work on studio projects including audio/visual pursuits, Brad is involved with various bands and projects, and Ryan has regular gigs as a solo performer. As it turns out, we have some other things in common: working in education and being dads. Our lives are indeed full, but playing music gives us that additional spark of fulfillment that may have otherwise eluded us. We want to enjoy playing music for you, and our mission is to maximize your good time. With a professionalism approach and a laid back attitude, your dealings with us will be as stress-free as possible. Enjoy being thoroughly entertained by the music of Famous Last Words!
Electricity from about 25 feet is needed. Wi-Fi is not necessary for our live performance, but needed for any DJ style set and/or impromptu sing-along requests that are not on our set list. Shade is huge. We can provide our own if necessary, but it would cut into our performance time. Level, solid ground is greatly preferred...enough space for 3 performers and a drum kit. We provide our own PA (unless there is a house system that you would like us to use, minimum 8 input - XLR, 1/4 inch, and one RCA). We have professional lighting, effects, and all other instruments and stands that us musicians need to perform. Famous Last Words uses audio tracks to supplement our diverse sound, but we play and sing 100% of the time (i.e. we don't lip-sync or instrument-sync). Don't worry about the technical side of things, we got this!
