Every audiendce we have played for can never stay sitting down! If you have a pulse, you WILL dance to the music of FAST LANE! FAST LANE is interactive with the audience. We go out into the audience and involve them in performance. We have had audience members sit in with FAST LANE - and show off their talents to their friends.

One evening Dr. Rockinstein and Skyntyte pondered the possibility of forming a band capable of providing great vocals and virtuoso musicianship. FAST LANE is the result. Skyntyte’s credentials include tutelage under rock-n- roll pioneer Bo Diddley and Parliament-Funkadelic keyboard wiz, Bernie Worrell. The list of artists he has shared the stage with is long and varied: Chic, Teddy Pendergrass, Stephanie Mills, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and when not performing with Fast Lane, he plays and sings with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members, Original Parliament.....Dr. Rock studied music theory at Boston College and is an accomplished jazz pianist, playing in various musical combinations since childhood. Lead female vocals are the domain of Ms. Deby Starr. She is known for her sultry voice and stage presence. She sang for several bands, but now give her time to...FAST LANE. Tasteful drumming and vocals is provided by Keith "Kool Breeze" Whitesel. Keith honed his singing chops with his family band singing at Walt Disney World. he is an accomplished percussionist, playing a variety of genres - from jazz to metal to funk...and he brings his talets to FAST LANE! The bottom line is the domain of Mr. Greg "G-Man" Mullins. His musical journey began at the Bronx school for the Arts. He has travelled with his bass around the world and has rubbed elbows with the likes of Victor Wooten, Evelyn "Champagne" King, Carter Beauford and others... Greg now brings his talents to the FAST LANE! Adam Caerega grew up in Key West. He can often be seen playing his horn around town. He brings his talents to....the FST LANE. No matter what size of your event and/or venue, FAST LANE will rock the house with the same passion during each performance. FAST LANE will get your party started at the beginning of the night and keep on rockin’ till last call. If your wish is to organize an unforgettable function, you need a well oiled machine and you know you are safe when one of Florida’s premiere dance bands is behind the wheel. - The Fast Lane played at my wedding in October 2010, and was a HUGE hit! - hey Vernon, this is very overdue but i wanted to say thank you for playing such a great show at our wedding back in October. Katie and I absolutely loved you all and had a fabulous time. y'all brought the funk, and that is what the NOLA crowd is always looking for. many, many thanks for a great memory.

- We booked fastlane about 7 to 8 months in advance for our wedding in Miami Florida. We had alot of requests for specific songs for our reception. Fastlane's only request was that we get them what we wanted to hear a few months in advance and they would easily accomodate. True to thier word they delivered on what we wanted to hear and then some. Most impressive was that only about a 3rd or so of our request were on thier song list that they posted on Gigmasters. Every guest was impressed with the band and we partied. We would highly reccommend Fastlast for any event. If you want a professional talented band Fastlane is the best choice by far.....

- One of Gainesville's best bands, if not THE BEST. Caught them (again) at the Downtown Community Plaza last week - what a show! Accomplished musicians all, covering everything from Sly to Talking Heads to Chuck Berry, even a little tasty country too. Definitely a "can't Miss" group. (JR, 5-19-2017)

I wanted to let you know how much you all brought the house down and the people to their feet. Everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE at the wedding was asking who you were and saying you all were one of the best bands they've ever heard. I agree. I had never heard you play before but hired you at the suggestion of others and I'm SO HAPPY I did. I am now an official groupie.

I thought the dance floor under the stage with the lights and floating lanterns made the night magical and you were the pilots of the night, taking the guest on a ride they'll never forget. I still have people telling me they haven't danced that much in YEARS. You all were so powerful there were even three people out on the dance floor who were in active Chemo therapy! Music is the best medicine.

I will never forget dancing with my father and my newly minted husband. You helped make the wedding a magical experience, which we will never forget.

We can provide our own PA system, if needed. However, we would prefer a backline to be provided for us.
If the event is outdoors, we need to play on a covered stage.
We would request water be provided for the band members.
If possible, we would also like food provided for the band members.
