FDN Celebrations

I was born and raised in Southern California. I am a proud "Valley Girl" from the San Fernando Valley. Being born in Los Angeles and growing up in the suburbs of Los Angeles I have made friends from many different cultures, which has helped me understand people and their needs. Because of my upbringing, I work well with others, and I know how to interpret their visions and goals.
I studied Fashion Merchandising and Business at Howard University in Washington D.C. When I returned to Los Angeles, I used my degree and worked in the Fashion Industry. During my time in fashion, I noticed my niche to create fun and detailed gatherings for fashion events and employee get-togethers. Everything changed for me in 2019 when the fashion company I worked for began laying their employees off. That is when I took some time off and started pondering on what I really wanted to do.
My past co-workers, friends and family members helped me realize my true gifts of knowing how to make people feel amazing at parties, knowing how to really bring visions to life, being detailed oriented, being fashionable, being on time, knowing how to coordinate programs from beginning to end, knowing how to follow-up, being amazing at research, knowing how to remain calm under stress, and understanding the assignment. That is when I knew I should change my career to event planning but then in the year 2020 the pandemic hit.
During the multiple shutdowns I began creating a business plan and truly writing out what I wanted to do.
I established my business during the pandemic when society was slowly returning outside. I noticed the public wanted to still celebrate their friends and family members for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, etc. This made me realize the need for event planners. Since I have a gift of detail and can seamlessly coordinate multiple occasions from beginning to end, I decided to put my skills to use for those who need help with assembling events. Therefore, the creation of FDN Celebrations came to life.
I am the proud business owner of FDN Celebrations. I have been creating events for 12 years and I understand the details and how to bring a festivity to life based on my clients' visions. I have terrific communication skills with my customers and vendors. I am a dedicated and hardworking person and I treat each celebration as if it's my only one.
