I am a one-woman band with my violin and looper pedal! I play a range of genres from classical to contemporary to old time fiddle. I can offer you just instrumental ambient music, or I can also accompany myself as I sing.
Lauren is an incredibly talented, professional, and punctual violinist I’ve had the pleasure of working with many times before. As a wedding coordinator and officiant, she’s been an excellent vendor to work with—her arrangements are incredible, her communication is responsive and quick, and she’s always early and ready to go on time. She is a wonderful addition to such a special day as a wedding, cannot recommend enough!
Our play with music transferred to Off-Broadway after an engagement in Los Angeles. Our violinist was unable to accompany us, and so we hired Lauren based off of another violinist's recommendation. She was extremely professional and learned our music quickly while adding her own character to it. She was punctual and reliable. She had spent her own time listening to our music before we actually arrived in NYC which made our first rehearsal really easy. She was friendly and a delight to work with.
Response from Fiddler on the Loop:
Callie, thank you so much! It was great meeting you and playing for your show.

My standard repertoire includes highly requested songs such as "A Million Dreams", "A Thousand Years", and "Pachelbel's Canon". The music I offer for events ranges from jazz standards ("What a Wonderful World" and "The Way You Look Tonight") to arrangements of contemporary songs (Sting's "Fields of Gold" and Taylor Swift's "Blank Space"). I always communicate with clients to ensure they have the perfect playlist for their event!
Lauren is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and actress in NYC. She performed in NYC Off-Broadway as The Fiddler in the critically acclaimed revival of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish. She was also in the Broadway national tour of the tony-award winning musical, Once. She has played all over the world in concerts and with bands, and is currently part of a country/folk band called Americana Women. As a one-woman band with her looper pedal, she creates unique arrangements of classical and contemporary tunes.
