Fiddle player with 35 years of experience. I'm very professional, thorough, and a "seasoned" performer and instructor.
I play many styles of music, mainly Folk and Classical, or a combination of both. I lead the band "Down the Road," whose focus is American Folk instrumental music with some vocals featured. I work with many different musicians who play various instruments (including fiddles, cello, banjo, etc.) and can provide different groupings according to need.
Weddings are a specialty, especially with a focus on the "Classical-Folk" sound which many people request.

I offer professional, courteous service in everything I do. Looking to book my Old Time string band, Down the Road for private parties, public events, etc.
I'm a fiddler with a blend of styles, mainly Old Time with a bit of French Canadian, Acadian, and a smattering of Irish overtones. I compose new tunes in the old traditions. I do improv too with vocalists, either traditional songs, covers, or originals. Folk/Americana/Rock or a combination suit me well.
Have an Old Time string band (with some vocals) available to play for any event or occasion.
I also play English country dance music, which is a bit more classical, as well as classical music for weddings and other events.
Seeking a band to gig with on a regular basis. Willing to travel. Also looking to play weddings and other special events.
I also teach fiddle, music theory, and composition and am available to give lessons.
