I'm Norm Roberts the Fifth, and I'd be absolutely delighted to be apart of your special day. I'm a Long Beach based photographer who has been photographing weddings professionally in Los Angeles County and Orange County for more than six years. For me, photography isn't a means to a paycheck, but a method of artistic expression. Equipped with an array of professional equipment, I have the tools to ensure that no moment is beyond my capability to capture precisely the way I envision it. From the teary eyed smile of a groom who just laid eyes on his bride or the tender exchanges of affection during a couples first dance my eye for composition, and professional equipment ensure everything is artistically captured. When your special day comes to an end, the real work begins for me. I carefully sort through the photos to ensure only the very best are selected for processing. Once selected, each and every photo is individual edited to achieve the exact look I envisioned. As you can see by the photos on this page, the countless man hours spent are well worth the effort.

My chief concern is that you're completely satisfied with my service and that means having a great time during our shoot. To help with this, I include an engagement session with every package, giving us a chance to get to know one another before the wedding. The more comfortable you are working with me, the better your photographs will be. After six years of photography I've yet to have a single dissatisfied client, and I have no intentions of letting that change. I'm a photographer blessed to live in the Long Beach area with its' plethora of fine cuisine, beautiful venues, and interesting characters. Photography has been the driving passion of my life for over seven years. Regardless of what I shoot, It's my artwork, my heart and soul. Photos are shot with vision, always edited to perfection, and never rushed. I take great pride in my work and go to great lengths to assure that every shoot I do lives up to my very high photographic standards.

This planet we live on is filled with such spectacular beauty. From the soaring mountain peaks capped in snow, to the heart warming moment when a bride and groom see each other for the first time on their wedding day, beauty lies all around us. There are far too many wondrous sights to see in one lifetime, but I'd certainly like to try.

Q:How long have you been shooting weddings?

A: I photographed my first wedding back in 2009 and have since covered more than forty weddings. I find the demanding nature of the profession to be wholly enjoyable, there’s nothing quite like beautifully capturing a moment you know you client will cherish for a lifetime.

Q:Where are you located?

A: I live in the Long Beach/ Los Angeles area of California. I provide service to all of Southern California without additional travel charges.

Q:Will you travel?

A: Without hesitation, yes! This world is far too beautiful and I want to see it all so I’m more than happy to come explore your neck of the woods.

Q:What’s your style?

A: For the most part I stick to a photojournalistic approach. capturing real moments and emotions. That being said, my favorite part of photographing weddings is the romantic portraits of the bride and groom. Utilizing advanced lighting techniques and posing to creating stunning images that would be just as at home in magazine as on your wall.

Q:Do you have Backup Equipment?

A: I have back ups for every piece of equipment I own. No matter what happens, your wedding will be photographed with compromise.

Q:How soon will the images be ready?

A: Within a week you’ll get a chance to see a sneak peak on my blog, or on facebook. As for the rest of the images, my turnaround time is within eight weeks of your wedding.
Q:Can we print our images?

A: Yes, I provide a print release with all my wedding packages. For smaller print sizes most printing places will do an adequate job, but I do recommend printing through your online gallery for anything larger than an 8x10, as it utilizes one of the top professional print shops in the US. At a price slightly above what you’d pay at Costco you get unparalleled quality.

Q:How long will our online wedding gallery be up?

A: Forever. I will never take down your wedding gallery, so you can always view, share and order through it. Immediately after I photograph your wedding, I backup all the digital files to multiple drives and cloud services ensuring they are secure forever. Since I never get rid of any of my photographs, and have multiple back ups, If you ever lose your wedding photos I will happily make a backup available to you. Your precious memories will never be lost

Q:Do you offer engagement sessions?

A: Yes, and I feel it’s one of the most important factors in beautiful wedding photography. It gives us a chance to get to know one another before the wedding. The more comfortable you are working with me, the better your photographs will be. To help with this, I include an engagement session with every package.

Q:Can you work with our budget?

A: It’s hard to give a definitive answer for this. My recommendation is to contact me, I want you to get the best photos you can and will work with you to make sure that happens.
