Fire Light Circus

Fire Light Circus is a vaudiville style performance group. Our current show is called "The Shadow." This show runs 30 to 45 minutes and can stand minor modifications to fit your event's theme. Or we can create a set unique to your event.

FLC does not do fire performances indoors unless very specific requirements are met with the venue. An indoor performance would require an industrial sized building, with either flame treated or concrete floors, a fire suppression system that can be manually operated, and plenty of exits. We would be happy to do a show using LEDs or silk props instead.

Outdoor venues require a space of at least 30x30 feet. This allows for a 10x10 foot stage with a 10 foot perimeter between audience and performers, as well as any structures. These dimensions can be modified for oddly shaped areas, as long as there is a 10 foot perimeter. Costuming and fueling stations need to be at least 10 feet away from the stage as well.

Weather is another consideration for outdoor performances. Shows during the day are not our ideal, but we will still do it. The reason day shows are not preferred is because the fire just does not look as impressive, and fire on the ground or on performers is harder to spot. If the weather conditions are deemed unsafe for performance, the show will be cancelled. Excessive wind, thunder storms, freezing temperatures are all unsafe. We will of course do our best to accommodate for weather, but we can’t control it.
