We create flash mob choreography that will make your special occasion, promotional event, or party feel like a scene out of a movie. Does that sound like a lot of work? Don’t worry! You’re in our capable hands each step of the way. We’ll draw the perfect amount of attention to your event and get the reaction you’re eagerly looking for. We’ve got the means to teach dancers, facilitate, and spread the word to make your flash mob a roaring success.

What are flash mobs for? Everything! We plan flash mobs for marriage proposals, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, coming out parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, sweet-16 parties, graduations, bridal and baby showers, corporate events, trade shows, promotional events and conferences. ABOUT US:

First Dance Vancouver is Delphine Leroux and Kara Nolte. They are experienced and versatile dance artists. Though their dance careers have taken them down very different paths, they’ve developed a similar understanding of their art form.

Kara Nolte trained in ballet and contemporary at Arts Umbrella’s Professional Dance Program, pursuing further studies in modern dance at the Ailey School in NYC, and in theatre at Douglas College. She has apprenticed with dance companies Move: the Company and the Response Dance Company as well as touring nationally with Judith Marcuse Projects. She has collaborated on work shown at the BC Buds Festival, the In the House Festival, the Young Playwright’s Festival, with Rococo Cabaret, the Performance Incubator and Across Oceans. Kara works regularly as a dancer, facilitator and choreographer.

Delphine Leroux trained in Montreal where she studied ballet, contemporary and improvisation at l’Ecole Superieure de Ballet Contemporain. After graduating college in 2005, she began her career in a small ballet company in Kelowna. She then moved to Vancouver to join Ballet British Columbia for four seasons where she had the pleasure of performing works by top choreographers. In 2010, she took part in the Opening Ceremonies for the Vancouver Winter Olympics. Delphine is now enjoying her flourishing career as an independent artist. Since 2011, she has had the great privilege of performing across Canada, touring internationally and teaching in Vancouver.
