We present an authentic tablao style flamenco show from Andalusia, Spain. We have extensive experience performing at all types of venues, including : outdoor cultural festivals, corporate parties, retirement home events, private parties, restaurants, and bars. We showcase the range of emotion and power that is Spanish Gitano flamenco - the flamenco style of the Gypsies.
Absolutely fabulous! They were both extremely friendly and the dancing was beautiful. The guests at my event loved them and were asking about them tons. I highly recommend them!

Mark and his team went above and beyond to make our event wonderful! Mark was communicative during the process of booking, and with any last minute adjustments and changes, due to the nature of life during COVID times. With the performance, they did a fantastic job
Personal I feel no profesional team, I was take care the event and I just notice for somebody they left the place. Didn’t talk to me that all.
Was suppose they doing 3 parts of 20 minutes each part, and they did only 2 parts of 20 minutes, in total 40 minutes ( 4 dance each )
and y pay for 60 minutes.
Also they explain to me they charge more because they will need some sound staff ( microphone and speakers)
They bring but, never connecting ( cable problems they said) anyway the people on the back wasn’t able to eat anything. ( estará charge I need to back to me)
The people like, the show and enjoy, but personal for me, was slow, no dinamicé and lack os charisma ( I’m Spanish).

The crowd loved the show, that was clear to us! We are very grateful for their appreciation and the many nice comments that we received throughout the night and during the time we stayed after, talking to guests. Sorry about your misunderstanding the duration of the show, but we stayed 30 minutes overtime to accommodate you and the guitarist had another show to attend. We did what we could under the circumstances. As far as electronic connections, you are misunderstanding. You said that it was a small room so the guitarist/singer did not need amplification. Thus we didn't bring a guitar amp. The amplifier was for recorded music, only but, as it turned out, we were able to do the entire show with live music. And we carried in and used the 4'x4' dance board to protect the floor.
Mark and Valeria were awesome! They made a dramatic entrance as we had requested and stunned the party with their fabulous dancing! The guests loved them and enjoyed the interactive lessons in Flamenco dancing! Thank you so much for rocking our party! 😘

This group was professional, easy to communicate with, flexible and very exciting to watch. They made the process incredibly easy to coordinate and put on quite a show for my company's Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. I would highly recommend them for any type of event.

I hired Mark and his group to perform a Flamenco dance show with a guitarist as a surprise for my best friend’s birthday Party on Dec 1, 2018. From the moment I engaged with Mark on GigSalad, it was a completely professional and pleasant experience. Mark was very responsive and accommodated my request for a male and female Glenn I dancer accompanied with a guitarist. His price was very fair and reasonable. He and his team arrived on time (In fact, a few minutes early to set up). They arrived in full flamenco style costume. It was a cold and overcast evening and we requested them to perform on the covered patio because we weren’t sure if the wood flooring inside the house could withstand the special flamenco style hard tapping. They didn’t mind at all and performed on the patio and Mark brought with him a piece of wood that he was able to use for him and Pam to dance on. They were contracted for a 45 minute performance but stayed much longer than that because we broke up the show into two segments of 20 min each dance. We wanted to have a break in between the two dances so overall they end up staying much longer than the 45 minutes but didn’t complain or charge extra. The female dancer, Pam, was exquisite and danced beautifully. The guitarist, Jose, was also incredible and played the Spanish flamenco music beautifully. Mark and Pam danced so well together. All of our guests enjoyed the show thoroughly and my friend was so surprised and so happy with their special performance. She simply loved the dances. They were extremely professional, reliable and nicest group of people. I would recommend them highly to anyone and would hire them again.

Our Spanish themed reception was made extra special by the inclusion of this trio. We hired a Spanish guitarist and two dancers (a couple). They arrived early and were very flexible to change in our time schedule. In addition, they stayed afterwards to teach dance steps to our guests - young and old - who had a great time. I highly recommend them for any party or event.

Gig Length: 20 - 60 minutes
A show typically involves 2 dancers and guitar. The two dancers perform as a pair to begin with followed by solo dances. All dances are accompanied by guitar and the musical variety spans the full range of flamenco emotion and feeling. A guitar solo is included in the middle of the show and is always greatly appreciated for its purity of musical expression as well as variety. The dancers end dancing together. Flamenco involves percussive feet, dances with percussive canes, expressive gestures, and unique costumes. We can narrate the show and involve the audience, if that is desired.
Our members have danced with local flamenco ballet companies in the greater Washington, DC for many years before forming Viva Flamenco! . Our purpose in forming this small group is to put on authentic Spanish style flamenco shows featuring both a male and female dancer both together and dancing solos. We have studied extensively in Spain, in particular at Escuela Manolete and Carmen de las Cuevas in Granada, and at the Festival de Jerez. Our teachers are a list of flamenco luminaries, including: Manolete (Granada), Farruquito (Seville), Alejandro Granados (Madrid), Mercedes Ruiz (Jerez), Manuel Linan (Madrid), Domingo Ortega (Jerez), and Antonio El Pipa (jerez). We have danced in every type of outdoor and indoor venue, large and small in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
