We also foster a healing environment for those in need of mental, physical, or emotional support. We know that both healing and change start with attitude, which is why we are committed to helping people heal their hearts, minds, and spirits through equine assisted programs designed to teach individuals how to overcome their obstacles through the eyes and heart of a horse. We offer team building, petting zoos and mini party services, great for birthday parties, community and corporate events and more.

SERVICES WE OFFER:
Tactical Teamwork: Team up with equines for some tactical teamwork strategies! Our organization uses equine assisted activities to help leaders, teams and individuals improve their teamwork, leadership and communication skills, skills that can be applied to teams at work or everyday life and with children and in marriages. These exercises are designed to teach groups; how to become more self-aware, work together, resolve challenges and build confidence, self-esteem, trust, respect, leadership and communication, through the eyes of a horse.
Navigating Life: We use Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) principles taught through EAGALA and O.K. Corral Series to equip people of all ages who have experienced emotional trauma, have a mental disability, or struggle with substance abuse with the tools needed to navigate through life’s challenges. This program enables individuals to better maintain their psychological health by providing alternative therapy services to treat a variety of behavioral or mental health challenges.
Hope and Honor: Our teams of trained handlers and therapy horses bring hope, love and laughter to people of all ages and abilities in retirement communities, assisted living centers, nursing homes, hospitals and to those who visit our mini ranch. It is our honor to serve more than 80 facilities and thousands of individuals in the Oklahoma City metro area facing physical, mental, emotional or psychological challenges. Flames to Hope is also proud to partner with the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs and the Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center to bring Hope and Honor to military Veterans and children.

Read at Ease: Read with Reba or one of our other attentive equine and discover the joy of reading. Unlike people animals are non-threatening and non-judgmental. This helps children who lack confidence in their reading ability to develop literacy skills, improve their oral reading skills and build confidence and self-esteem in a safe, comfortable and fun environment.
Other Services Offered: We also provide Petting Zoo, Party with an Equine, Paint a Pony, Dress up a Pony, Pictures with a Pony and more. Great for birthday parties and community and corporate events.

Flames to Hope, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to healing hearts and providing hope, love and laughter to people of all ages and abilities through equine assisted interventions and learning. Our unique programs are tailored for men, women and children of all ages and abilities. All our minis are rescued or adopted due to extenuating circumstances and rehabilitated to help those suffering from emotional traumas, disabilities illness or substance abuse and those just wanting to improve their communication, leadership, teamwork or reading skills.
Kelly King, Executive Director co-founded Flames to Hope Equine Assisted Services, in August of 2016. With a passion for healing hearts she strives to provide hope, love and laughter to people, of all ages, through Equine Assisted Services. Kelly received a Bachelors of Business Administration Management in July of 2002 and a Master of Arts in Organizational Dynamics in August of 2015. She has over 16 years’ experience in business, leadership and team building and 7 years’ experience in Natural Horsemanship. She is dedicated to helping others by bringing hope, compassion, and encouragement to others.
