I am able to play any type of gig, including weddings, private dinner parties, musicals, orchestral works, chamber music, etc. Please reach out and I’d love to chat about my services!

As I have said, I am able to play a variety of genres/styles, I would just need to know in advance. I am able to play more hushed background jazz, classical flute pieces, more upbeat jazz fusion, pop tunes, etc. It would be up to you what you would like to hear!
Hello! My name is Mia and I just graduated with a degree in music education from YSU. I have always had a love for music and have been playing flute for about 14 years now! My whole life has revolved around it and I look forward to sharing my work with you. I have played in numerous ensembles through the years, from middle school all the way through undergrad. I will be starting as an intern flute teacher this coming fall and am getting my masters in music therapy, as well! I love classical music but I have a new-found passion for playing jazz music, and am open to any other types of music you would like. I also just finished up my student teaching in an high school and elementary school, so I feel as though my communication and people skills are strong. Other than playing flute, I dabble in piano and play guitar, which are more hobbies of mine! I enjoy listening to indie/folk music, classic rock, and 90’s grunge as well. At home, I enjoy crafting, hiking, and spending time with my family and cats! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask.
All I would need is room for a music stand and about 6 feet for me to move around when playing, as needed. (I will provide the music stand). If the setting is a smaller venue, such as a dinner party, I do not need a microphone. If the setting is bigger, I will need one, which I will not provide myself. A regular microphone works!
As stated, this is very flexible, but I would need to know in advance.
I can play jazz standards and improvise, classical works, Latin influenced jazz, contemporary pieces, etc.
Classical, contemporary, jazz, Latin.
