Fo Salgueiro Music

Fo Salgueiro is a young and multi-talented musician based out of Plantation, Florida, who is skilled in different instruments over several genres of music, ranging from Rock to Jazz and Latin. With over thirteen years of experience, he constantly seeks to push the boundaries of his craft.
He began his studies as a percussionist at the age of ten, joined the concert band at his local middle school at eleven on Tuba, and has been involved with band programs at his educational institutions ever since. After graduating from West Broward High School in 2013, Fo participated with many marching arts ensembles on snare drum, including STRYKE Percussion (2014-17), The Arizona Academy Drum and Bugle Corps (2014), and The Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps (2017) on Tuba.
In 2016, Fo graduated from Broward College with his Associate’s of Science in Music Technology, where he also had begun studying jazz drum set under renowned musician Rodolfo Zuniga. He continued his education at Florida International University (FIU) and graduated with his Bachelor’s in Music Technology in 2018. Currently, Fo is a Master’s student at FIU, studying Jazz Performance under Rodolfo Zuniga.
Fo plays with various bands and groups throughout South Florida, including various jazz and contemporary ensembles within FIU, and with other local favorites such as “SloFunkPump,” with which he toured with throughout Colorado in June 2018. He also works part-time as a sound engineer, providing audio-visual services for local churches, marching bands, recording and mixing projects, and corporate events.
