For over 30 years, François Dubé’s fingers have been dancing on the piano and keyboards of well renowned stages. He has been a pianist, musical arranger, composer and orchestra conductor for the following musical legends: Renée Claude (30 years)), Luck Merville, Nanette Workman, Peter Pringle, Lady Alys Robi, Jean Leloup, Luc de La Rochelière and Marie-Denise Pelletier, to name just a few.

Furthermore, François is the Maitre d’oeuvre of the 2003 tribute to the prodigious French song-writer, Eddy Marnay, « Simplement Marnay », which featured, Céline Dion, Mario Pelchat, Joe Bocan and Charles Biddle Jr…together on the same stage. For many years, François has been the orchestra conductor for the Festival international de la chanson de Granby, Ontario Pop Talent Show and Tout Nouveau Tout Show. He was also the musical director for the Manitoban Song Gala in 2005 and 2006, for the Chant’Ouest , in 2006, Winnipeg, Manitoba, and in 2007 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

In 2004, François launched his own production company « Les Productions Dubémol Inc.» and has since produced several shows such as the « Cabaret des Variétés » and the « Gala des prix Trille Or » of the APCM (co-produced with French CBC), a celebration of song and music in French Ontario in March 2007, in Ottawa (Ontario). Furthermore, he was the musical director for the 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2009 editions of the “Gala des prix Trille Or”.

François has recently co-produced and directed Manon Charlebois’s album “Langage Rose” and has participated as musical director, arranger, composer, pianist and keyboardist.
In December 2008, François has launched his first instrumental CD “Le monde selon François”, which is based purely on musical improvisation on stage. His second album (Notes et Anecdotes” came out in 2014…
