Fratello Classic Rock

Fratello” is Italian for Brotherhood.

Fratello continues to entertain in the Jacksonville rock scene following years of dedication, drive, and determination. Band members are Freddie Bianco, drummer & vocals; Joe Corsano, lead guitar; Bill Carroll, bass & vocals; Bryan Sowards, lead vocalist; and Jeff Keith, keyboards & vocals.

Freddie, a member of the original Molly Hatchet in the early years, as well as Hott Wyre and Roman Hanzz of the eighties, has enjoyed touring clubs on the East Coast and locally in Jacksonville. He began playing at a very young age, and although he has not recently played professionally, he hasn’t lost a beat. Freddie’s explosive drum style and broad vocal range provide an assertive base for the band’s classic sound.

Bill, the most seasoned member of the band, has been playing the bass for 30 years. Formerly of the Cottonmouth Band, the Room, and the Boogie Monsters, he has traveled extensively in road bands on both coasts. Bill’s rock experience, solid bass playing and vocals give depth and foundation to the band’s rhythm section.

Joe has played guitar for 25 years and is a former member of Second Nature, Havoc, and Vinyl Countdown. As the youngest member of the band, his talent and versatile guitar skills lend energy and enthusiasm to performances.

Bryan started his singing career in Kentucky with XS and Anthem. After several years in Nashville, he is emerging in Jacksonville as a powerful vocalist with a wide range. His renditions of classic and heavy rock anthems are accurate and true to the originals. The polished vocal harmonies of the four singers blend well for a rich and full sound, making the band a true “brotherhood”.

Jeff, our newest member, has extensive experience singing and playing a wide variety of instruments. Beginning with choirs and piano as a child, Jeff added tuba in high school, and bass guitar, saxophone, and drums as an adult. He has contributed to the musical community by leading church choirs and orchestras, along with composing and arranging for a variety of ensembles. His experience includes tuba and keyboards for the US Army 24th Infantry Division band and drums for the band Solar Remix. His keyboards strengthen our rhythm section and provide leads that expand our sound and music possibilities.
