With a "FREEBIRD" show, the band captures then essence of a live Lynyrd Skynyrd show from the band at it's peak in the 1970's. The members of "FREEBIRD" take pride in reproducing the authentic sound by using the same guitars and amplification as used by Lynyrd Skynyrd. We also take pride in reproducing the music to as close to the originals as possible with many hours spent at home and in the rehearsal studios studying and rehearsing as a unit. We promise that you will not be disappointed with a "FREEBIRD" performance.

"FREEBIRD" was formed in early 2003. After eleven months of home studying and endless hours of studio rehearsals, "FREEBIRD" was ready to set out upon the club circuit in the New York tri-state area, and did so in December of the same year. Soon after, they were recognized by many in the area as the most authentic Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute. Packing clubs then, and continuing to do so today, the boys still play with same enthusiasm as if it were their first show. "FREEBIRD" pays tribute to one of the greatest Rock and Roll bands ever, and pays respect to every detail of the music to give you an experience that you will never forget. This December, 2013, is the 10 year anniversary of "FREEBIRD."
