Friend Somewhere is a five piece musician setup that can transport a drum set, amplifiers and PA system. Most comfortable playing for two or three sets, the band can choose from either acoustic or electric configurations, depending on the noise level and also potential dancing desired by the event. Setup and soundcheck take approximately one hour from load in and thirty minutes of breakdown until all equipment has been moved out of the venue.
Formed by lifelong musicians who love the Grateful Dead, these diverse musicians each add a little something that makes a new sounding take on the catalogue. Equally ecstatic to play Friend Of The Devil or even Estimated Prophet, these unique musicians use a range of dynamics to give the listeners a custom experience, crafted to the event itself.
