I am a solo acoustic singer/guitarist/songwriter who also performs as part of a trio called From the Heartland. We/I do acoustic classic rock, classic country, bluegrass, blues and original tunes.

RICK REIS
Rick has played and performed in a wide variety of music groups. A self-taught acoustic guitarist, Rick's musical tastes range from classic acoustic rock to country rock. He has performed as part of the duo Rivas and Reis in New York's Capital District for several years. Rick continues to perform as a part of that duo, and with his own band From the Heartland.
Rick also has appeared with The East River Boys and R.D.D., bluegrass bands, who have performed in various venues in upstate New York.
His "day job" as Professor of Russian Language at SienaCollege has led to its share of musical adventures as well. He has toured the Volga River as a guest of some popular Russian and international rock bands, and has performed a variety of Russian music mini-concerts at Siena and throughout New York's Capital District. In earlier years, he has played bass guitar in the Russian rock band Kholodilnik, and guitar in the University of Arizona's Balalaika Orchestra.

Rick is from St. Louis, Missouri and now lives in Averill Park, NY with his wife Ann.
