American singer/composer Gabriel Maaliq is self-managed, self-produced, and the head of his own record label, Black Native Inc.
Born in Edmond, Oklahoma, Gabriel began singing at the age of five. He acted and sung in Christmas and Easter plays as a child at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, where his father is the pastor.
His official recording career began in 2009 with singles like "Love Drunk, "Free Spirit", and most popular "Black Magic".
Maaliq continues to manage his career from his Edmond base. An active member of his community, he continues to sing in the church choir, and in the church's plays. His new album "NightJar" is now digitally available worldwide.
All Gabriel needs is a microphone stand and sound system where his computer or ipod can be plugged in.
