My Story Teller repertoire consists of classic children's stories, fables, and Fairy Tales that my kids loved growing up. I also have a number of children's songs that go over really well. I would love to provide the entertainment at your next birthday or other party event!

Awesome event! We had Garland out for a youth fundraiser and he was able to engage all ages. Even the beginners that didn’t know what they were doing he was able to make them feel comfortable and have learning! Would definitely have him out to any event again!

Garland Smith is a phenomenal performer. He led a few square dances and line dance for our party, and the crowd "rocked." I've received multiple compliments on how fun the dances were. We hope to have Garland back to our community in a few months to continue the fun!
We were so pleased that Garland battled 100° temperatures to attend our event and teach us some basic social square dancing calls and dances. We had people from 8-80 dancing and had a great time. Sure wish we could start a club in south Chandler/Sun Lakes area for retirees out here. We highly recommend Garland for your event.

We just had Garland at our event last night. We had a lot of last minute cancelations and the event was smaller than we’d expected. It was feeling like a little bit of a disappointment and the energy was low. Once we turned the night over to Garland, he had every person laughing and shouting “this is so fun!!” We danced and danced and EVERYONE thought the night was spectacular because of the great time provided by Garland. He is gifted at what he does, and really provided an amazing time for all! I highly recommend him!!
Garland was an amazing dance caller for our twins sweet sixteen barn dance. The kids were involved from the minute the dancing started and didn’t want it to end. They were eager for more. He helped to make our party the most wonderful experience and I would recommend him to any and everyone who wants a wonderful Square Dance Caller and or Emcee! He has to be one of the best out there!

Our church in Tucson hired Garland for our annual Valentine’s dinner dance. The age range of the group was 30-70’s. Garland was fantastic at making the dancing accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Square dancing is a great leveler and a wonderful way to encourage meeting people. We had a blast. I’ve already had a couple people wanting to book him for their event. Garland was extremely professional, on time, knowledgeable and a super friendly, genuine guy. He’ll work with you to make your event a success.
Garland was great! We had some confusion, starting with the wrong address and getting started late! With me actually booking him from California and not knowing about the Texas area, he showed Up before I got there. He was so gracious and assured me it would all be fine! We had so much fun, no one can stop talking about it! If I’m Ever in Texas again and need a square dance caller, I will call Garland! ( may even be willing to fly him to Cali)! Will definitely recommend him to all my Texas folks! Thank you Garland for making our Family Reunion Memorable!

Garland is the nicest man. Very prompt with his responses and very helpful. He came with the whole PA set up and did a great job of getting everyone on their feet dancing.
