Excellent performance.
Garrett was a fantastic addition to our wedding cocktail hour. He has high quality technique and playing style, as well as a wide range of music genres to choose from. He was very accommodating as we worked through the logistics of the event and the music selection. We received many positive comments from guests afterwards. I highly recommend Garrett!
Response from Garrett Pelland:
Thank you for the kind words Dylan, I had a wonderful time and I'm glad your guests enjoyed the music so much!
Sincerely,
Garrett
Garrett is very pleasant to work with, professional, and performed beautifully.
Garrett was an absolute pleasure to work with in every way. Besides being an incredibly cool guy overall, he performed exceptionally for our engagement party. His chops are special, and after telling him we were fans of the genre, he incorporated flamenco into his amazing set list. This was something we very much appreciated.
We had so many comments from friends and family about how much more special the music made the event overall.
I highly recommend Garrett for any event, and his skills are such that he can play different genres without issue. He is laid back and friendly, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. Highly recommended.
We had numerous compliments on Garrett's performance during our wedding reception cocktail hour. He also was extremely professional and adaptable to a quick change in format from outdoor to indoor due to cicada noise & his willingness to perform a special song for my wife and I was greatly appreciated.
Response from Garrett Pelland:
Thank you Joe! It was a beautiful wedding and thank you for trusting me to perform on your special day.
We hired Garrett for a cocktail party and I want to say first that he was a pleasure to work with; he was accommodating of our music requests and overall very talented and professional.
He arrived early and his selection of music was fantastic. I'd never heard a guitar played like that before. Garrett was a great investment for our event and I can't recommend him enough.
Garrett showed up early to our grand opening. He was flexible when we asked him to move to another part of our venue at last minute. The musical performance itself was excellent. He played the classical and oldies selections that we requested and was very easy to work with.

Garrett typically arrives 1-2 hours before the gig to set up and meet with the client(s). He uses a minimal amount of gear to keep the setting uncluttered while providing the best possible sound quality (DPA microphone with a Roland AC90 amplifier).
You can expect a blend of popular song arrangements for solo guitar, Spanish, and Latin pieces selected to inspire the desired atmosphere for your event.
Garrett Pelland has been described as “an affectionate and devoted performer” and his music as “a balance between precision and elegance”. His journey with the guitar began when he was 14 years old and he has now given over 180 performances. After graduating high school, he moved to Chicago to study with prize winning virtuoso guitarist, Denis Azabagic. Upon returning to Baltimore, he continued his musical studies with another award winning performer, Mark Edwards. Thanks to the guidance from both incredible guitarists and instructors, Garrett’s own performances gained him acceptance into the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University under the instruction of Julian Gray, earning a Bachelor of Music degree in 2017.
Garrett has continued to hone his craft and broaden his musical horizons, offering you the perfect music for your event.
The only technical necessity is a standard 120v plug within 100 feet of the performance area. Garrett handles everything else.
