Gary started playing professionally when he was 16 yrs old...a popular local band asked him to replace a parting member...the band did some touring in nearby cities & sometimes driving home late at night had just enough time to drop him off at his school bus stop! Gary was first interested in playing the drums in 5th grade...he continued performing on percussion instruments through middle & high schools in different bands (symphonic, marching & stage(jazz) bands)...he also became interested in the bass guitar after seeing some local guys perform the big booming sound he loved...his parents bought him his first bass & amp @ 13 yrs old...he listened & learned from records including Paul McCartney, Larry Graham, Geezer Butler & others...he also performed live w/ his first band of friends(a great learning experience)...then one late night, Gary saw a movie entitled 'A Film About Jimi Hendrix', from then on it was guitar!!...thru listening to Hendrix he also discovered more guitarists who would shape his sound, including Eric Clapton, Robin Trower, Frank Marino, Ernie Isley & others...he would continue to study these players for their technique, sound, etc.

Gary can either provide his own sound, lights,etc...or will work w/ your sound company to bring you the best possible!
