Gene is a one man band, singer/saxophone/flute/acoustic guitar player using background tracks. He works full time with a variety of different style venues. He can sing/play soft background Jazz Standards/Smooth Jazz/ R&B or High Energy Dance and Classic Rock (also Blues, Reggae, and Country if you need it). He also currently performs in restaurants of all types, golf and country clubs, 5 Star Hotels (including lobby, poolside and tiki bars), sports bars, beach bars, martini bars, house parties, birthdays, Christmas parties, corporate functions, beach/ballroom/house weddings...ceremony and reception, etc. Gene also offers a DJ service together with the live performance or just DJ.
Hired Gene Cannon for a performance on March 30th, 2019 and what a performance it was!
Gene was extremely accommodating! He mingled with our guests, and everyone felt very comfortable with him. Before the performance, Gene and I worked out all the details as to the event, the songs we requested, what was required, etc. He responded to all of emails and questions within 24 hours. The day he arrived, he had all the song list, and details with him. Excellent pre-planning! He set up, and immediately started the performance. Everything was "smooth sailing" Great Performance! Would hire again without hesitation! Exceptional Performer. Hire Gene for your next event, I can honestly say, you will be thrilled with his Sax, guitar and vocals! You don't need a big band, all you need is Gene!
