R/B danceable music is The Generations Band, variety cover group with an emphasis on R&B, Soul, Blues, Contemporary Jazz and Neo-Soul. Many of our tunes on our set list are just right for singing along or dancing. We've loaded some tunes from our set list onto our site to provide a sample of our style of music.
We are available for private parties, corporate events, weddings, birthdays and any other event that appreciates good music, and loves to dance. Each set is over one hour long and our music set list is designed to get and keep everyone on the dance floor, singing along and feeling great. We bring the party with us !!

The Generations Band was very professional, from the start to finish, as I conducted business with them. Mr. Kenneth stayed in contact with me if he had questions and he was able to answer all of my questions with the highest expectations, plus they delivered all of my requests and more! Very affordable if you're working with a budget. This band kept the crowd on their feet, finger popping, and head bopping all night long. All my guests called to tell me on the next day what a wonderful time they had and the band was Perfect!

Our performances usually consist of three sets. Each set will last over one hour long. Our music is designed to take you on a musical journey. Our selections will keep you dancing or toe tapping to the beat. We do not take long breaks in order to give you more music at your event. We come to your event to play music. Our vocalist is entertaining and personable. We are professional and our appearance will be professional.
Generations Band is a dance band. We have playing in the Houston area for over ten years. The band consist of members from several Generations. Musical experience gives a combined total of over 50 years. Each of our members have been involved in various band around the Houston area before we finally got together and formed Generations Band with an emphasis on R/B dance music.
