What to Expect
I've been an entertainer in NYC since 2001 and in that time, I have toured the country as a headliner and roasted countless athletes and actors as a Friar. I also have been lucky enough to be involved in radio and TV as both cohost to Artie Lange and host of my own show and that has evolved to the entertainer I am now. Whatever the format—comic or host, on stage or on-air—when I am behind a microphone, I make sure everyone in the room is having as much fun as I am. And believe me, I am having fun, and you will feel the joyful energy (and complete silliness). You can see and feel it in my clips and pictures.
About
My IMDB bio says “Geno Bisconte is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor known for HBO's Crashing and Gotham Comedy Live. He has written for the Comedy Central Roasts of Robe Lowe and Charlie Sheen. He can be seen daily as host of In Hot Water on Compound Media. Born and raised in Vineland, New Jersey, Geno has called New York his home since 2001.”
All of which are true but, what I would add is, that in the 20-plus years since that I have been lucky enough to call NYC home, I have become serious about one thing as an entertainer—MAKING SURE NONE OF US TAKE OURSELVES TOO SERIOUSLY. Whether I am on a stage or on the air—once behind a microphone I am saying the dumbest things in the smartest way (or perhaps the smartest things in the dumbest way). Whichever you call it, I can promise you it is a joyful and hilarious experience for all.
Oh, and this is a cute review by Hat City Entertainment from a few years ago that—while describing bits from my first album—sums up my delivery and energy perfectly.
"Bisconte's slash and burn style of back-stabbing insults show he is a true comic guildsman. His style is reminiscent of a bowling machine setting up his audience, one person at a time, for the inevitable knockdown. Bisconte’s soapbox delivery includes pornography as therapy, the robotic dog craze, beautiful breasts, lobster bibs and the beauty of laughing at the forbidden. Bisconte questions the life and death ethics of tipping (yes to Starbucks employees but not to airline pilots) and why family dysfunction is just, sometimes, so darn funny."
Gimme that gig and see for yourself.

Influences & Inspiration
My parents were older when they got married so I was lucky enough to grow up watching RODNEY DANGERFIELD, DON RICKLES, and DOM DELUISE. Classic comedians who were focused on always making the audience laugh and always seeming to make every show inclusive and intimate... while making sure no one ever took themselves too seriously.
