Genuine Brass are Chicago-based professional musicians that genuinely love making music and sharing it with others. Our repertoire ranges from pop to classical to jazz and more, depending on the request of our clients. We are in demand for wedding ceremonies, parties, recital performances, graduations, church events.
We perform primarily as a brass quintet with the capability of adding percussion and/or piano.

Genuine Brass provided an incredible addition to our 2022 Easter Sunday service. The congregation was so happy to have them after two years of Covid-restricted worship. The players all did a great job blending with our small choir while still filling the space with a majestic sound.
My school superintendent, principal, and all the teachers and students appreciated the performance at our annual Red Carpet event to welcome the students back to school. You all did a wonderful job - very professional! I will definitely hire this group again if the need arises!
