Known as a Modern Day Crooner, Gian Faraone is a critically-acclaimed vocalist and recording artist based in NYC who considers himself an old-fashioned entertainer. A consummate performer and a Berklee College of Music alumnus, Faraone's show presents a modern take on the Standards. A multi-cultural upbringing and fluency in three languages (English, Italian and Spanish), has given Faraone a continental appeal. With a track record that includes performances at Lincoln Center, Birdland and The Boston Symphony Hall, just to name a few, this talented and charismatic crooner delivers a performance you will not forget.

I booked Gian for my father’s 70th! And Gian was such a pleasure to work with. He was in touch prior, day of and after to make sure everything was smooth. Almost everyone asked for his card for their own future events. Not to mention the performance its self was excellent. I would highly recommend.

Gian drove to Northeast Pennsylvania to entertain a broad range of age groups for an 80th birthday party for my dad.
He knocked it out of the park! Every generation enjoyed the music Gian performed.
He is very professional while still being amazingly personable. He shared his song list in advance and we requested so many songs be played; he played them all!
I live in Arizona and would consider hiring him to come out here if there is an event that a crooner would be the best choice.

Gian and his pianist were an incredible duo at our holiday party. He performed beautifully and the pianist played our piano in a way I’d never heard it played before. They both were very easy to communicate with and were just incredible. I would hire Gian again for other events in the new year.

Gian's performance was sophisticated, elegant and entertaining. He had the right balance of music at the cocktail hour continuing throughout the meal and after lunch. He was spot on and had us all singing and dancing. All of my guests said this was the best bridal shower ever! So much fun! This was a 5 star performance and I would certainly choose him again!

Gian Faraone was such an amazing addition to our annual lunch fundraiser this year for the Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany! Gian was on time, extremely talented, interacted amazingly with the crowd and very budget friendly for a non-profit organization. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Gian. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, charismatic, high energy and so easy to work with. He kept all of my guests dancing with his high-energy performance. This guy is an absolute star and I cannot believe I found him here on gig salad. He should be in sold out arenas with the powerful voice he has! If you want a treat and someone worth every cent, he is your entertainer!

Gian is a very talented and gracious crooner. I felt reassured by his frequent communication and extensive song list. He did exactly what we wanted, sang a mixture of Italian songs and classics. My guests loved him. It made my mom’s memorial celebration wonderful and bittersweet. I know she was singing along in heaven.

About
Known as a Modern Day Crooner, Gian Faraone is a critically-acclaimed vocalist and recording artist based in NYC who considers himself an old-fashioned entertainer. Faraone grew up in Caracas and moved to the U.S. in his late teens to pursue a career in music. Soon after, in 2008 Gian received a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston. After graduating from Berklee, Faraone has performed for numerous well-respected audiences, including performances for Maestro Gustavo Dudamel at Lincoln Center, The New York Friars Club, Birdland Jazz Club, The Boston Symphony Hall, The Berklee Performance Center, among many other venues in the East Coast. This national tour earned him the nickname “The Venezuelan Sinatra”. Beloved by his fans and always keeping a close relationship with his roots, Faraone has established himself as “The Crooner of Venezuela”.
Aside from selling out concerts at the main theaters in Venezuela, performances outside the U.S. include; The U.S. Embassy (Caracas, Venezuela), The Ritz Carlton (Aruba), Hotel Casa de Campo (La Romana, Dominican Republic), Hotel-Art & Spa Cumbres (Punta del Este, Uruguay), and Retamares Casino & Golf Club (Madrid, Spain).
Faraone is currently working on his self-titled first LP GIAN FARAONE, while working on a few concept albums; Dear Sinatra LIVE!, Boleros Forever and FELIZ NAVIDAD. The young crooner has recorded and released a few singles that achieved great reviews by the critic. On his debut single, recorded and mixed by Marcos Godoy and Jorge Velasco (Selena Gomez, Alejandro Fernandez, Usher) at Stagg Street Studios in Los Angeles, California, and mastered by Grammy award-winning engineer Brad Blackwood (Michael Bolton, Maroon 5), Faraone took Armando Manzanero’s classic bolero “Mía” (2014) into a heartbreaking pop inflamed ballad that showcases his emotional musical depth. In the other hand, his second single titled “Dear Sinatra” (2016) is a tribute to his idol, Frank Sinatra. Recorded in Boston, Massachusetts with an 18-piece orchestra and arranged brilliantly by award-winning arranger Utar Artun, this single presents a medley of some of Sinatra's hits comprised in four and a half minutes. Mixed and mastered by Latin Grammy award-winning engineer Lewis Pickett (Marc Anthony, Maluma), on this rendition Faraone showcases his crooning chops with a silky, lush and yet modern take on classics such as “Fly Me To The Moon”, “Moonlight Serenade” and “My Way”, just to name a few of the standards on this extraordinary medley. More recently, Faraone released “Jingle Bells” (2022), the first single from his highly anticipated Christmas Album FELIZ NAVIDAD. Recorded with a full Big Band, this single brings a fresh take on this beloved Holiday classic. Faraone’s music is available on all digital platforms.
