We are a contemporary, acoustic, husband and wife team that have been entertaining guests across the globe for nearly 8 years by land and sea. We are best known for our tight harmonies, beautiful blend and extensive repertoire of over 500 songs. Whether you are looking for background music of feel good classics or upbeat tunes that your guests can dance to, we've got you covered. We've played to an intimate room of 30 guests at small wine bars and up to a field of thousands at festivals. Whatever your event may be, we are happy to create a musical ambience custom made for the occasion.
Gilly and the Girl performed for my private event that included some of my best friends from college. Four of the 16 people there were music majors who also taught music. They, along with everyone else, loved G&G. G&G were not only able to sing a variety of requests but they sang them expertly as if they had practiced each song for weeks only to sing them at this event. Mike did an awesome job singing James Taylor. That made my wife very happy. Charity’s voice is clear and precise with excellent tone quality and they have a huge repertoire of great songs. I can not say enough good about these two artists. They truly are fantastic! They helped to make my event so very special.

Can’t say enough good things about Gilly & the Girl. Their talent is amazing. We love their harmonizing. Their voices are brilliant so much so you don’t realize there is just a guitar accompanying them. If you close your eyes when Mike is playing a James Taylor song, you might think he’s in the room. Charity’s range and purity is such a gift, I never tire of hearing her sing. Our guests were so appreciative and positive with their feedback. Aside from that, they are lovely people. My husband and I absolutely loved Gilly and the Girl on our Celebrity cruise this past August. I especially loved the rendition of "Me and. Bobby McGee". We looked for them on all activities.
We were introduced to Gilly & the Girl on the Celebrity Eclipse in October. My husband first heard them in the atrium and he was hooked. We tried to get to most of their sets through the rest of the cruise as did the othe 8 in our group. We are in that 55 and over age group and their songs were ones we know and love. We felt like we were hanging out with a bunch of friends enjoying great music. Thank you Mike and Charity for the great music.
The fact that Charity sings like a rock and roll angel would be enough. The fact that Mike is a virtuoso on the guitar would make me happy enough. But that’s not all! They are fun, funny, engaging, with chops that can span the full musical spectrum! So very worth the ticket and the time!
We had the pleasure of having Gilly and the Girl as the entertainment for Celebrity Eclipse - we did 3 cruises in a row and they were our favorite! It has been a long time since we have had talent that good on a cruise!!! They always had a full house and were enjoyed by all. We hope to see them again on our future travels! Wish we lived closer to their home town so we could see them preform when they are in town. If you get a chance to see them you won’t be sorry!
Wife and I enjoyed Gilly & the Girl on a Baltic Cruise so much, that we followed them from one lounge to the next to the point one might consider it stalking. They had great rapport with the audience, had a diverse song selection and her voice... WOW! Gilly & the Girl would elevate any event.

Without a doubt, Gilly & the Girl are one of the best acts I've ever seen. What really sets them apart is their ability to work any room, regardless of age or background. Golly and the Girl provide the complete entertainment experience. Whether in a stage concert setting or an intimate club, they are complete professionals. My wife I and saw Gilly and the Girl on a Northern European cruise, we absolutely fell in love with them. Her voice is so good, there were several times it actually brought my wife to tears. His guitar playing is excellent and he has many unique arrangements. It actually got to the point where we went to every performance that they had all around the ship. We are planning on driving from North Carolina to the Orlando area to see them again as soon as we can.
