Tanika Salmon (Torrice) is the proud owner of Girls Pop-Up Salon, with an impressive 20 years of experience in the beauty industry as a professional hairstylist, makeup artist, and fashion stylist. Throughout her career, she has worked with well-known companies in the children's industry, including Warner Bros, American Girl Place, Toys R Us Times Square, and FAO Schwartz.

Originally from Harlem, New York, Tanika grew up in Toronto, Ontario, where she began her journey in the beauty industry. As a young girl, Tanika struggled with low self-esteem and confidence, but she discovered that hair, makeup, and beauty treatments were the key to overcoming her insecurities and boosting her self-confidence.

Opening Girls Pop-Up Salon was a dream come true for Tanika. She envisioned a warm and inclusive space where girls of all ages and backgrounds could come to feel beautiful, confident, and empowered.
