Hello!
I am Grant Larcom, a professional studio/touring pianist in Nashville, Tennessee. I tour with Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox, but love to play private events when I'm home in Nashville.
I specialize in solo jazz, but love to play rock, blues, and pop, and I actively record and livestream from my home studio all the time. I've played tons of weddings, receptions, birthdays, corporate events, and small-town events for local communities.
If you choose to work with me, you'll be getting 20+ of music experience, and I would LOVE to be booked for your event!
All the best,
Grant Larcom
Stop what you're doing and hire Grant right now 🙂 This is the entertainer you want for your party. He did a great job at our neighborhood Christmas party in Green Hills. Of course he is unbelievably talented but also has a huge song library and was a joy to be around. Showed up early and was very professional. We will definitely use Grant again!
Grant played piano for a Christmas party we threw and was absolutely excellent. His song renditions are gorgeous and really “next level.” He was a huge hit with everyone. Even showed up 15 minutes early and stayed a little later than expected. Quick and timely responses! 20/10 we hope to hire him again!
My son‘s graduation party was a success and Grant was certainly the cherry on top! I cannot say enough about his talent and professionalism. He played an excellent variety of recognizable music. We received many compliments from our guests. He makes me want to turn my dining room into a piano room just to have him come play for us on a regular basis! Lol! I cannot say enough about how amazing he is! Thank you so much, Grant, for being a part of my son‘s well-deserved and special night!
Grant was all we could hope for, and then some, for our wedding. He was kind, friendly, and cheerful. One of the reason we chose him is the beautiful flow of his style. The way he phrases an arrangement sounds like a full "conversation", instead of a broken, choppy, one sided conversation. That's very hard to learn if you don't the natural feel for it. You can tell that it is a natural for him. Thank you, Grant, for being the soundtrack for our celebration.
Grant arrived early and ready to play. Very polite and professional. He played our favorite songs and many more. He is an excellent artist and will be an asset to any gathering. Give him a call and enjoy your event 1

I provide solo piano music, or piano and trumpet duet upon request. I play a wide variety of songs and pieces that range from classical to jazz to rock, and can fill a room with music for hours. I can improv and play as long as you need.
I was born and raised in a small rural Tennessean town called Union City. It is two and a half hours from Nashville, the music capitol of the world, and two hours from Memphis, the heart of the blues. I asked my parents at the young age of five to take piano lessons. Since then, I have been classically trained, and still take lessons to this day. In the last 5 years or so, I have taken a much stronger liking into all things jazz, and have focused a ton on building my improv chops. For some reason, there is a college only 20 minutes away from my childhood home: The University of Tennessee at Martin. Ever heard of it? Don't answer that. This school is known for two things - nursing and music. So, naturally, I attended this university and continued lessons with the same professor at the college.
I specifically chose my major to be as far away from education as possible because... simply, I am not an educator. I am a performer. I do take the occasional band camp gigs and used to give private piano lessons. But those days are behind me. My aspirations go much higher than teaching a high school or college band. I am a performer, not an educator.
For me, the "bigger picture" involves taking a passion, talent, skill, or trade, and finding a way to fund your life through that thing. Life isn't about work, or money. Life is about living. Life is about doing what you love. What is the point of working a job you hate in exchange for a paycheck, if most of the time you spend living isn't about you? Be your own boss. Live a life funded by something you love, a passion that you can share with the world. Travel the world. Perform for a million people. Let the world know that you exist.
