Graves Caricatures

I will arrive 15-30 minutes before the start of the gig to set up my easel and supplies.

My sketches are quick, but I try to make every interaction with the guest special and leave them feeling happy with their keepsake drawing. My style is exaggerated but not mean, which makes it appeal to most people getting drawn for the first time. (Though if they want it extra-goofy I'm always happy to accommodate that 😜)

It's also a lot of fun for guests not getting drawn to watch, making it a fun spectacle that will have everyone at the event laughing.

I've been drawing cartoons for as long as I can remember, so when I saw a job opening for a caricature artist I jumped right on it. I have been hired at theme parks, zoos, fairs and also done plenty of independent gigs ever since.

I love meeting new people and really enjoy my job. I'm always practicing to better my craft and give the best experience to guests that I can.

I can provide almost all supplies, including chairs if needed.

I do ask that there is adequate lighting at nighttime so I can see the features of who I am drawing, and if it is outdoor in a sunny area that there is some shade otherwise both my crayons and I will melt, haha.

I don't need a large space to set up, as it is typically just an easel and 2-3 chairs, but you should keep in mind that there might be a line formed behind me.
