I worked with GLPP to staff a celebration of life and they were so courteous during this nice but difficult event. Jean and Perez were prompt, helpful, and kind throughout the day. They kept things running so smooth and I would recommend them to anyone

We hired 6 servers but unfortunately 1 didn't show up (by no fault of GLPP). The 5 that were there did a fantastic job and picked up the slack though. Very professional. I would definitely hire them again.

We hired 2 servers and a bartender for a party. After multiple reassurances and payment, I received a notice the day of the party that one of the original people assigned was double-booked and the company would try to find a replacement. The bartender arrived on time and was kind, but shared many personal problems with our guests, which I learned about after our event. One of be the servers arrived 30 minutes late and I had to hurry to show her where supplies were stored, etc. They finally found a third staff, a quite inexperienced second server, who showed up an hour after our party began. During the party, I was often interrupted by the staff with questions about location of supplies. Frustrating because the first person clearly did not listen and did not convey to the other server. As the party was winding down, I gave some trays for family members to pack some leftovers to take home. The staff then began to randomly distribute trays to other guests and also packed for themselves to take home. It was rather unprofessional and surprising. In the end, I did not get enough time to enjoy our guests because of the frequent interruptions and definitely overpaid for the service.

The bartenders from GLPP were timely, attentive, and went above and beyond! Would recommend them to all and will definitely be using them again next time we are in MI!

Our servers were great. They worked for 6 hours outdoors in a hot day. Kept the food going, drinks refreshed and tables tidied. They pitched in making more salad when food ran low. All with good cheer and professional demeanor.

Booked this vendor for a face painter for a town wide event. They reached out right away offering additional services, but we were only responsible for 1 piece. After booking them and paying, we recieved a notification that their face painter had the wrong date and they needed to cancel. After stating that was unacceptable, they reached out and did, in the last minutes, find a replacement painter. This young man showed up with a tote of paint and a few items. He did very well and the kids all seemed happy. He painted the entire night of the event and he even work around the rain and the weather. English is not his first language, so it took him a minute to process things.. but he did amazing overall!

I was very pleased with the service! I can’t remember their names, but the 2 girls were very kind, sweet and very professional. They really went out of their way to make my day special and helped take the stress away. I will definitely work with you again and would love to request the 2 girls.

We had an amazing experience. I wish I could remember the names of all three staff members. They were simply the best. They could not have been better. They kept everything running smoothly and our guests loved them. Would hire them again in a minute.

Shelly the server was excellent. Especially since she had to brave the cold with outside party. We couldn’t have done it without her. She worked buffet, help guest where needed, and cleaned everything up after all with a pleasant smile and demeanor.
The only negative was that the owner or administrator did not have the correct information after I texted several times confirming the time, including the extra hour I asked for. Leaves me to think the administrative staff seems to be lacking.

We hosted an engagement party at a home with 16 guests and hiring 2 waitstaff to help us was by far the best decision we made in planning! The team arrived promptly and took care of everything, and I mean literally everything, even the things that we didn’t think of!! They made our night so much more relaxed and enjoyable, especially for me and my two other co hosts, but the fact that we hired additional hands to help was a definite wow factor for our small event. Will totally do it again! Thanks so much!

Very professional and super helpful with the setup of our wedding.

My decision to have a Henna Station at my Retirement Celebration was definitely a wise one. ALL of my guests who visited the station walked away EXTREMELY pleased. Reshma was very kind, patient and professional, Her designs were pretty, detailed and complemented everyone's style. Towards the end of the party, Reshma was even kind enough to patiently wait (to do my tattoo) while I thanked my guests for coming (as a group) and to even say some individual "good-byes". Days later, I was hearing from guests who were still amazed at how long their tattoos were lasting and how much prettier they were as they darkened. Thank you Reshma for being a part of my big day and helping making it that much more memorable! I'd definitely book with GLPP and Reshma again and HIGHLY recommend their services. Thank you!

Would recommend in a heartbeat. On your wedding day there are a lot of details you have to be on top of, not having to be on top these bartenders eased the burden.

They came through with short notice and did a great job

Vera did a great job at the party. She was on time and came prepared with various gadgets to be able to prepare different drinks. She took care of all the guests and served them with drinks of choice including making some special drinks when they did not know what they should drink. She went over and beyond by also helping around the party ensuring no dirty glasses or trash was left over. We will surely work with GLPP again for future party needs.

I give my highest compliments to Vera and Daniella, who were the party professionals at our son's graduation party this past Sunday. They were extremely hard-working, pleasant and true experts at how to handle the flow of a party. Thanks to their efforts, my wife and I could truly relax and enjoy this moment of celebration.

Another amazing night. Servers were so professional. All of our guests had a great time and we were free to be with them all night because the servers were so on top of everything. We never had to restock a food tray or drink for a guest. It was seamless. This was our 4th time and we will use them again next year. Vera was the best as usual!

Verna was absolutely great!! All my guest came up to me during the event telling me how much they liked her! She was very nice and social. She did things she didn’t have to do such as throwing away plates and trash.

Vera and BethAnn were amazing! They were so helpful throughout the entire evening. They mingled well with our guests and our guests loved having them around. Everyone was so well taken care of. They worked tirelessly all night and really allowed us to relax and enjoy our party. We’d have them back any time. Third time we’ve used GLPP and each time we’ve had different servers but every one has performed at a very high level. Well trained staff of good “people” people.

They showed up when they were suppose to. Followed the recipes for my craft cocktails to a T. Every one of my guest commented on how nice and entertaining they are.

Each and every one of our servers were lovely and polite. But they didn’t serve our guests on time! Dinner took about 20-30 longer to begin than we had scheduled and, as a result, we ran out of their time before we ended our meal. Our guests weren’t served dessert at all- even after we paid to extend their time- which might be okay, if this wasn’t our wedding reception. Our wedding cake went to waste, which makes me sad. But? While they were there it was definitely polite and friendly service.

We hired waitstaff (Vera) to help us out at a house party, just cleaning things up, putting food out, checking food levels, etc. Vera was able to show up at the last minute (our original waitstaff had an emergency and could not make it - the owner called us and assured us that he'd find somebody), and she did an incredible job. She worked with our caterer to get all the food set up on the table and the leftovers on warm in the oven, alerted us when our alcohol supply was running low (instead of when it was gone), made sure the house was in good shape throughout, and made sure my wife and I ate in the midst of it all. Vera also cleaned up as the night went on, and then helped us after guests had left.

Overall, Vera was courteous and friendly to our guests and to us, did a great job helping us run the party, and made our lives a lot easier before and after the event itself. Would absolutely recommend!

This was my first time hiring staff for an event. The experience was amazing!

Kaitlyn was our server, and I was immediately impressed with her polite demeanor and initiative. She asked for details of what was expected of her throughout the evening, made suggestions and then got to work. She lightened the load on me, kept our buffet replenished all evening and did a splendid job of organizing and maintaining all the supplies. She knew where everything was at all times. In other words, she took over my role almost completely and I got to focus on our guests. What a novel idea!

Vera, the bartender, came in ready to make our party come to life. She came with all her own tools, did a great job keeping everyone's drinks replenished all evening and was great with the kiddos. She made fun mocktails for the kids and made them really feel like they were special. Vera also helped with cleanup and helped make the whole evening a success.

The entire process of working with Great Lakes Party Professionals was great. I had quick response times to any correspondence, the price was reasonable and the service exceptional. I would definitely recommend them friends and will keep them in mind myself for the future.

We hired a GLPP bartender for a grad party last weekend (also used hired one three years ago for another grad party). They were amazing both times! Did everything we asked, took the initiative to do more, and continually asked what else (even more) they could do. Would definitely hire them again!

They helped me out with the process of planning a bachelor party from beginning to end. The DJ and entertainment were great and everyone had an amazing time. I definitely recommend them for your next event.

Everything went great. I had numerous calls and text the following day that this was one of the best bachelor parties some of the guys had ever been to. I would use this service again for sure.

VERA CARILLO, once again, was beyond FANTASTIC!! Vera was amazing! Our bar area was mostly set up when she arrived (right on time) and she offered to help in the kitchen. She was very pleasant to chat with and she was great with all our guests. Throughout the party she kept her eye on the garbage and took out as needed and even helped to refresh appetizers. Thanks for making our party great!

This was the first time we have ever hired a server for a party. We didn't know what to expect. We were blown away with how excellent her service was. She was extremely attentive and all the guests truly enjoyed having her. At the same time she made the party flow so well and allowed us to concentrate on our guests. It was a fantastic service and one will be using more in the future.

Usually we love who you've sent. The bartender was super nice, but it did get a little crazy. At one point she asked one of the guests to get ice and took a break at the busiest point. Like I said, it did get a little crazy - but I wish she would of told us as the hosts to help instead. When I noticed she wasn't there I hopped back and started serving. The server (Katelyn) was great.

We hired a team of three servers for our wedding to help with bussing tables, pouring water/coffee, and moving food trays. What we received in service far surpassed what we expected. The servers were so courteous and sweet throughout the evening. They checked in on both me and my husband throughout the night, making sure we had drinks and making us a plate of appetizers since we were too busy to eat. When it was close to the end of their hired time and they had finished doing the tasks we had given them, they asked if there was anything else we needed help with. I felt like we were in great hands the entire evening and appreciated their positive attitudes and fun spirits (they even got in the photo booth!). I would not hesitate to hire this company again for an event. Highly recommended!

Vicki, our bartender was fantastic. She set up everything, went above and beyond to help my party go smoothly, even going so far as to clear dishes and wash glasses. My only wish was that I had been provided a better way to get in contact with the company.

We held a murder mystery party at our home and hired 2 servers (Sam and Tonia) to work the party. They did a fabulous job, were very professional and friendly with the guests, and best of all, they took charge and made sure my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything and we could just enjoy the party with the guests. They both went above and beyond to make it a special night. I would hire them again in a second! We were extremely pleased!!!

The service that I received from Great Lakes Party Professionals was above and beyond greatness. This is my second time using GLPP for my events and definitely not the last. From the promptness and professionalism of the valet service to the alertness and attentiveness of the beautiful servers. Absolutely awful. Do not hire them! The Great Lakes Party Professional bartenders were extremely unprofessional (and that's putting it nicely...). Not only did they arrive late and leave early, they didn't know how to tap the kegs or think to put ice on the kegs once my guests tapped it for them - so they were serving warm beer for the first couple of hours until the Groom noticed and told the bartenders to get the ice we provided. Although, they first put up an argument with the Groom and the Groom's mother. We had asked them in advance to know how to operate a jockey box to serve mead and they had no idea - and didn't think to look it up - so my wedding guests used their own tools from their cars to hook it up for them. Once it was hooked up, they still didn't know the difference between the mead from the jockey box and the white wine from the bottle, and on top of that, they only served one of our red wine options even when people specifically asked for the other (and were pouring the wine into pint glasses instead of the wine glasses - it was like they were trying to be the WORST bartenders in the history of bartending). At some point throughout the night, they ended up giving full bottles of wine to anyone asking for a glass - which is not how a bartender should act while working at a wedding. Overall, exceedingly unprofessional - save yourself the frustration and do NOT hire Great Lakes Party Professionals.

We hired one server and one bartender for a wedding reception. They far exceeded my expectations. They were helpful, friendly, flexible, professional,funny, and sweet. I would recommend this service to anyone. I can't say enough good things about them.

Great Lakes Party Professionals was very easy to work with and got us bartenders even at the last minute. Both bartenders were very good. They were professional and made great drinks. For our party of 113 people, there was no lines almost the whole night!

I was very happy with the bartender and waitress who worked our NYE party. Kay the bartender was very personable and didn't have any problem making the drinks that were requested. Andrea was the server and she was really sweet and very attentive to all the guests and went above and beyond clean up and being helpful with hosting while my husband and I enjoyed our party. My only complaint was that they were both late arriving. Bartender only by a few minutes and the server by almost 20 minutes. They both more than made up for that though with thw job they did and staying a little later than planned. I do understand that the weather and GPS address malfunctions played a factor I just didn't like having them not be there prior to guests arriving and having time to set up, etc. I felt rushed in giving them direction, showing them around because guests were already there. Even with that though we were pleased with our experience and would definitely go through GLPP again for our next party.
