His comedic timing was honed in the fast-paced world of advertising where he wrote and produced scores of award-winning TV & Radio commercials often featuring comedy icons such as Martin Mull, Fred Willard, Phil Hartman and Dennis Miller.

We met Greg after a charity event in the Detroit area where he performed a comedy routine. My daughter thought he was funnier than the headlining comedian and wanted to meet him after the show to get a picture and ask him about becoming a professional comedian. My daughter Mia has always wanted to be a professional standup comedian. We stood in line waiting to meet Greg and when we finally got to say hello, he couldn’t have been sweeter. He took the time to chat and take pics with Mia and gave her some advice on becoming a comedian. He even invited us to a show the next week where he said he was testing out some new jokes. We came to the show and Greg remembered us and said hello before going on stage. Mia was in heaven! Greg’s new jokes were just as good as the stuff we heard the weekend before at the charity event. We are now Greg Roy fans and will probably hire him to perform at our family reunion in Brentwood, Tennessee. I didn’t know where to write a review for Greg since there was nothing on yelp or google, but I found this website. Thanks again Greg for being so sweet to Mia and for being the funny guy you are.
We recently used Greg Roy for our annual shareholder meeting upon the recommendation of a former colleague (thanks Bill!). We’ve used numerous comedians over the years, some better than others, but I can’t recall any of them as funny and as memorable as Greg. He had a nice balance of self-deprecating humor mixed with smart observational insights. He even arrived early and listened in on some of our meetings to write material for his act. Very impressive! We look forward to working with Greg at future corporate functions.
