Rock/Country/Jam Band that can provide musical entertainment in a variety of formats ranging from acoustic to full band.
Grits and Juice played at our farm for the first time in the spring of 2024 and we had to have them back out for our Fall season because everyoneeee raved about how great they were. Our crowds loved them. Played a variety of country, soft rock, and today’s hits. Super affordable and great people to work with. Literally can’t say enough good things about this band!
Grits and Juice is awesome. The perfect band for your casual event! They have preformed for our events multiple times and they bring the crowd to life!
I will never hire anybody else for my events! These guys have played both Halloween and summer events, and did a fantastic job. Their playlist is diverse and was on point for guests of all ages. G & J is not a run-of-the-mill cover band. They do not disappoint!
We really enjoy Grits and Juice-we've seen them perform several times and they never disappointed. Excellent musicians!!
We were lucky enough to have them play at a birthday party--they were definitely a highlight of the party.
Highly recommend that you take the time to go listen to them play!
An extremely talented band but even better group of guys. Fun to hang around and be around.

There is no such thing as a "typical" Grits & Juice set list, but you can expect it to include a wide range of classic rock and country with a little pop flavor mixed in to chase it all down. If you like pure, unapologetic music - then you've come to the right place. Strong and soulful vocals, sensational guitar solos, heart thumping bass (of the upright variety), and gut punching beats.
Not interested in a full blooded rock band? Maybe you just need some acoustic entertainment but that can be more than just background music? Not a problem. We can sub out the electric guitar for another acoustic and bring out some smooth percussion in place of the full drums to provide a tasteful, acoustic spin on all your classic rock and country favorites.
We use professional grade sound equipment to ensure top quality - not too loud, not too quiet, and mixed just right.
Grits & Juice is a 4 piece band that thrives in a genre we affectionately refer to as Dad Rock - which can be summarized as any sort of rock and country music that a dad or his dad enjoys listening to. Grits & Juice loves spicing up classic songs with our own jams and unique spins, but we always keep it true to the originals.
Grits & Juice has decades of combined musical experience and has been together as a band since February 2022. With that much experience, we pride ourselves in never playing the same gig twice!
We're not picky. You provide the power, we'll provide the tunes. We can setup on a stage, a flatbed trailer, a concrete pad, your back yard, or your living room if you want to get real intimate. Grits & Juice has graced the massive stage at the Orion Amphitheater and also tiny corner stages at local BBQ restaurants and breweries. We'll play anywhere you can squeeze us.
This list is constantly growing and changing. Grits & Juice is capable of learning just about anything if you have special requests.

Cant nail it down to just one or a set of influences. Each band member has varying backgrounds and tastes in music, so when you blend us together, you get something unique and a little funky at times.
In general, our genre influences can summarized as rock n roll from all eras - from the 50s to present day. Plus country (70s, 80s, and 90s primarily), soulful R&B, jazz, and even a little pop.
We need power. We have everything else.
