I have heard the Pimps of Joytime before but with The Groove Merchant mixing it was simply amazing, thumping tight lows, clear highs and the monophonics were sounding just as good. Was my first time there and I'll be back for the annual marriott after parties WBF.
I go to the Wild Buffalo alot to hear popular acts when they are there, it is usually too loud. This last time when Sallie Ford was there the Groove Merchant was at the board and it sounded nice. Then when Deer Tick got up some girl mixed and it was way too loud. I hope he is there at the board when I go back again.
I have been to a couple of shows where this guy is doing sound and he makes it sound nice, clean, crisp and clear. I wish he had a calendar of events where he was gonna be at as I would go.
