Tom did a Troll/80s themed kids birthday party for our family and was great with the kids. I was impressed on how he handled children that were climbing up on stage to say 'hello' and other misbehavior. He was extremely gracious and calling attention to the parents to redirect their children. He was responsive in integrating songs for the recommended playlist and listened to the audience who wanted to hear old school funk/r&b towards the end of the party. I'm just sorry we couldn't have kept him spinning longer - the party was just getting started when we had to wrap it up. Next time I'd like to hire Tom for a house party and have him spin whatever he wants and we'll turn down the lights earlier next time! Tom is great to work with - I highly recommend him.

Thank you so much, DJ Swirl, for making our office party a night for the books! One colleague described it as "the funnest party I've been to in ages" and a huge part of that was the awesome music. We danced well into the night and couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We had a dinner party for 40. DJ Tom finished our evening with dancing under the stars. He provided all our requests for all ages. Will definitely hire him again in the future. His enthusiasm rocked!

We had a kick ass 80's birthday bash to celebrate our 40th birthday parties (40+40=totally 80s).
Tom NAILED it! He had great music playing, kept our very fashionable 80s guests super entertained and I feel like we could have danced all night if the cops hadn't been called at 10:30 lol.
Great personality, very professional and super entertaining! Tom- we will be calling you again. I am going to pitch to Kristina that we have a 45+45= Totally 90s in 5 years!!! Trust me-it's happening!

Groove Tonight Mobile Disco made the Cork Supply USA party at The Meritage Resort & Spa this year. Super impressed with how they were able to get such a large group of people (130 guests) with very different taste in music up on the dance floor. Would definitely want to work with them in the future.

About
Tom Biber (@djgroovetonight ) was raised in a culturally diverse environment, a family full of musicians and artists. Like many teenagers in the late 80's he gravitated toward his first set of turntables at age 16. This is when his life-long love affair with music and the art of DJing caught fire. This passion has propelled Tom through all facets of the DJ industry from roadie to remixer/producer and finally establishing Groove Tonight Mobile Disco in 2008.
"I started off DJing wherever I could...House parties, School Dances and Non-Profit events.
Over the next year I built strong relationships with my clients, which led to my first corporate contract in 2009. I continue to leverage these experiences and credit this success to the mentoring I received, working as an assistant DJ (Roadie) in my earlier years. Since then I continue to take every opportunity to entertain at a wide variety of special events all over the state. Everything from EDM Festivals to themed weddings and industry conferences. These amazing experiences have helped to develop my skills as a professional and establish trust within my network of clients."

Influences & Inspiration
Where to start?! I grew up listening to the old masters like Grand Master Flash, Jazzy Jeff, Kid Capri, DJ Kool, Stretch Armstrong, Bay Area DJ's and Crews like Cameron Paul, Spintronix, King Tech, Jose Melendez, Rick Lee...Seriously I could go on and on. The point is, i'm passionate about music and the art of DJing. These DJ's inspired me to learn the craft and continuously practice to hone my techniques.
