Guppy Effect

Expect a high energy rock-n-roll show. Since we play mostly originals, a good fit for us would be as one of three or four original bands on the bill at a reputable and fair-paying rock venue. We draw a decent crowd, but we also like to steal other bands' fans. Kidding/not kidding.

GUPPY EFFECT's motto is "thrice the rocking power of other name bands."

It is our primary goal to bring you a fantastic rock-n-roll show where you can dance, sing, and party to your heart's content.

The original songs are catchy, classic, crunchy, clever, and other good words that start with C.

We don't usually play cover songs, but we will for an added fee. We think our own compositions hold their own against any recognizable cover songs, but we will play covers as needed to fill the available set length. Four hours of non-stop rocking is no problem for us.

3 piece power trio.

Drums, guitar, and bass.

Two front vocal mics (for guitarist and bassist).

One front mic for handheld acoustic instruments (condenser style is acceptable).

Kick drum mic. Guitar amp mic. Bass direct or miked.

We have a small PA system and lights but prefer pro sound provider or venue to supply them, that way we can focus on putting on the best rock show possible.
