Guy Bavli - Master of the Mind® - Biography.
As a child, Israeli-born entertainer Guy Bavli was fascinated with mystery and magic. At the age of five, he began displaying signs of his destiny - successfully entertaining and having the extraordinary ability to charm people while he performed magical illusions.
At age 5 Bavli bought his first magic trick and fell in love with the mystery of magic. He was fascinated by the talent of Uri Geller, then a rising mystifier star from Israel, and inspired by the movies of Charlie Chaplin and his a ability to tell a story without words, Guy decided to pursue this route.
As a kid Guy Bavli was extremely overweight - OBESE to be precise. At age 6 he looked like he was 14 and at age 14 he weighed 107 kilos 235lb. This posed a challenge for Guy, especially a social challenge. Kids were making fun of him, he was often bullied and he had to fight for his self-respect and a rightful spot in society. Guy Bavli's love for mystery and magic and his talent to perform impeccable magic tricks and entertain his peers, enabled him to turn a bad situation into a good one. He always looked for the positive.
Recognizing his unique talent that captivated audiences, Bavli's family provided him the opportunity to perform his first paid performance at a Country Club in Tel-Aviv at the young age of eight. The show became a weekly hit in Tel-Aviv for nearly a year! While most kids his age were out playing ball games, Guy was mastering his unique skills and perfecting his performances that earned him the reputation of a child prodigy star.
By age thirteen, Guy Bavli - was dubbed the "wonder kid" - and was the opening act for famous national artists on tour in Israel. The next year, Guy stepped into the international scene by becoming the first Israeli performer to win an international magic competition in the United States. The victory propelled his name into the limelight as he received an abundance of media coverage for the honor he brought to Israel. Guy then continued to receive more recognition. He has been honored with the "Best Magician / Entertainer of the Year" award for three consecutive years. In 1990, Guy Bavli was the first ever to receive the award for "Magician / Entertainer of the Decade 80's - 90's" from the Israeli Society for Promoting the Art of Magic.
They say that becoming a soldier makes a boy a man. In Guy Bavli's case, it made a Magician become a Mentalist. While serving in the IDF for three years, Guy developed his telepathic skills shifting his focus to psychological entertainment. Guy Bavli became the first and only Mind- Entertainer-Soldier. He also expanded his ability as an entertainer by becoming a member of the "Israeli Air force Performing Group" as an actor and singer. Following his service in the IDF and having perfected his performance skills, Bavli carved a niche for himself as a world-renowned Mentalist entertainer and launched the critically acclaimed international tour: Guy Bavli - Master of the Mind®.
Bavli challenged himself in Entertainment and magic competitions both in Israel and in the USA and won prestigious awards each time he set his foot on stage:

1986 - Tannens Magic award in NY (15 years of age)
1998 – First Place - Youngest Magician award in Israel

Publicity and corporate events have become one of Bavli's known specialties leading to astounding performances in many countries in Europe and the United States.

One publicity stunt he performed as part of a marketing campaign for a company in Germany (JAGUAR) involved Bavli driving a car while blindfolded leaving witnesses speechless and creating media frenzy. Bavli is also known for his incredible predictions including his ability to predict newspaper headlines. Bavli successfully predicted the election results for Prime Minister and leading parties in 1996. He wrote and sealed his prediction into a safe two weeks prior to the Election Day during a live performance.
Bavli got his first performance at the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood CA in 1996, where it became his regular fun gig for a few weeks every year.

In 1997 for the first time, Guy Bavli walked onto the world famous stage at Caesars Palace Casino in Las Vegas. As a result of the overwhelming popularity of his outstanding performances at Caesars Palace, Bavli was awarded a contract to perform 400 shows each year for three consecutive years. He performed more than 1250 shows At Caesar’s Palace making him the first longest performing mentalist to work in Vegas.
In the year 2000 Bavli won 2 awards in 2 of the biggest Network Television Trade shows: NAB (National American Broadcast) in Last Vegas, where his show won Best show of the convention among 800 presenters, and in IBC (International Broadcast Convention) in Amsterdam Holland. Bavli presented an original show first of its kind to combine a Live show on stage with a virtual character reading minds!
In 2001 Guy Bavli stole the hearts of South America touring with "Master of the Mind"® a full evening show decorated with high tech production value including mood composing audio and lights. With every progressing show in South American Guy developed an almost fluent Spanish, although he still includes a stand-by beautiful female interpreter just in case (usually a local TV celeb).
Following the success in South America, Guy’s show was bought by a Casino in Aruba for a successful few months run.
In 2002 Bavli moved to live in the USA and immediately started touring with Master of the Mind® LIVE in theaters and casinos all over the country, including dozens of TV appearances. During these years he developed his new show… "Let's Go Mental.”
Bavli hosted infomercials in Europe for leading companies using his talent and captivating TV personality. His infomercial was aired all over the world with great success.

In 2003 Bavli was booked first time to appear in the biggest Latin TV show “Sabado Gigante” with Don Francisco. His first appearance on the show left a remarkable impact and ever since he has appeared many times on the show. Bavli toured all over the world and opened to many touring stars including Howard Jones and Johnny Logan while maintaining his corporate shows at the premium.
In 2007 Guy Bavli starred in the NBC Primetime hit TV series PHENOMENON, costarring Criss Angel and Uri Geller (guest starring Raven Symone, Holly Madison, Kim Kardashian, Ross Mathews, Dayna Devon, and many more). Bavli successfully appeared in all episodes and created some of his famous acts such as bending a stop sign, Acid roulette and more.
In 2012 Guy Bavli was booked to appear on the History Channel show “Stan Lee’s Super Human” where they made a special segment on his Telekinesis skills. Bavli was examined on his ability to move objects with his mind, using Labradorean test and EEG arising in astonishing results like never seen before. Bavli was shown to have very unique Gama waves in his brain that are 5 times higher than a normal person. Bavli was name the Kinetic man, and this show was aired all over the world.

In 2013 Guy Bavli received the prestigious "Dunninger Award" winner for Distinguished Professionalism in the Performance of Mentalism (P.E.A). This award is equivalent to winning an OSCAR in the field of Psychic Entertainment. Bavli joined the hall of fame together with the Amazing Kreskin, Darren Brown and Uri Geller.
