Guy played acoustic guitar for my husband's 60th birthday and he was superb! His music was beautiful and added just the right element of sophistication and fun to our big party. Guy was so nice to speak with prior to the event and at my request wore a blazer and blue jeans and looked very dapper. I highly recommend him!

Just saw Guy Lee at Glenbrooke at Palm Bay Living Community - great guitarist! He entertained at our Rustic Hoedown event singing Country and a nice mixture of other songs - folks especially enjoyed - When the Saints Go Marching In!

Guy was fabulous. He arrived early to set up. Very friendly and personable. He began by playing Latin guitar and moved on to modern music as the guests loosened up. He "read" the crowd very well and his choice of songs could not have been better. He even took requests. I will Definitely book him again for our next party!!!

What to Expect
Low volume music. Expert guitar instrumentals accompanied with vocals. Nylon string acoustic guitar or electric guitar.. A wide variety of songs from the 1930s - 80s. Very personable with the audience. Fun and excellent musicianship everytime! No rap or hip hop.
About
Guy Lee has written and published five books: Expressive Guitar, The Guy Lee Guitar Method, Bass Guitar Riffs, Easy Christmas Guitar and How To Make A Living Teaching Guitar. In 2008 he released two all instrumental guitar-oriented CDs, "The Hurricane Waltz" and "Christmas! Guitar-Style". 2012 brought Guy's "Songs of George Harrison" guitar tribute album. Featuring one song from each of Harrison's solo LPs. Also arranging and recording his new series "Cool Backing Tracks'. Volumes 1,2 & 3 are available with more volumes on the way. In 2017 he released " Modern Guitar Standards" and "Spiritual Guitar". 2021 Fabulous Guitar. Coming in 2023 an all original flamenco/pop album Tres Aqua will be released.
He is also a music journalist with over 300 published articles in Vintage Guitar, 20th Century Guitar, Premier Guitar, Goldmine, Home Recording, American Songwriter, Bassics and several newspapers. 'The Guy Wire' is weekly entertainment newspaper column by Guy Lee. A Berklee College of Music alumni, seminar speaker (Belmont College, NAMM University) and professional guitarist. Formerly a guitar pedal designer/Marketing Director for Xvive Audio out of China.
