Working with Cody and Alyssa was nothing short of amazing. They responded quickly and were the nicest people. I can’t say anything but good things. 1000% would recommend them for any sort of event. They performed at a corporate event reception and the attendees and vendors loved them.

Guy Meets Girl is truly magnificent! Cody and Alyssa were a breeze to work with, uber friendly, and professional from start to finish. They played at my brother's backyard BBQ engagement party this weekend and our guests were gushing about how talented this duo is and how fun their set was. They provided such a beautiful performance to honor a very special couple and I am very grateful for that! If you are able to book them, do not hesitate!!

This was our 2nd time hiring GMG. They continue to impress us & our guests. The set list was different from the 1st time, at our request. Get them while you can, as I’m confident we will be saying,
“We knew them when…” The entire package, vocals, guitar playing & personality, is fabulous!

Alysssa & Cody performing together is an experience you definitely want to have! GMG is incredibly talented, both musically & vocally. They are professional & easy to with on business end, as well as fabulous on the performance side. Their interaction with the crowd, extensive playlist (unique covers & thoughtful originals), beautiful sound & overall vibe, exceeded our high expectations. Don’t hesitate. Trust me. You want them to play your gig!

It helped that they were the fourth surprise of the day for my wife and her XX birthday celebration (we never divulge a woman's age). He reaction was priceless. The band was so easy to work with and so accommodating. I would highly recommend them for any event.

We host a lot of talent and this group was awesome. Was doing a charity event with John Daly and asked them to learn two songs with 24 hours notice and they did and sang with Daly and it was awesome. Guy Meets Girl gave us an amazing show last night. The crowd loved them and I've already spoken to several guests who asked when they would be coming back. Can't recommend them enough. A pleasure to work with.

Cody and Alyssa were amazing! Their chemistry together is unmatched and love instantly filled the air. I booked them for a surprise engagement party in Michigan with only a weeks notice and they did an unbelievable job. Cody was fantastic with communication and worked with me on getting the perfect play list and they even learned some of my fiancé's favorite songs to get us the perfect evening.

They drove 2 and half hours for a late night event that started at 10:30 and they stayed through 1 AM even knowing they had to drive back to Chicago.
I highly recommend you book them for any event you have as they are very responsive, friendly, gracious and affordable.

Talented couple. Very pleasant. Their style of performance is a like the relaxed or chill version of cover songs.

Guy Meets Girl is an adorable romantic couple that plays beautiful music. We loved having them play at our outdoor engagement party. There was truly no better way to set the mood for the event!!!

Cody and Alyssa did such an incredible job for our big day! Everything was seamless from the planning to the day of events. Not only are they incredibly talented but they were also able to learn 2-3 of our first dance songs which made everything that much more special. We would absolutely recommend them to couples looking for live music on their wedding day and will look to them for potential future events, as well!

We couldn't be more complimentary of Cody and Alyssa (Guy Meets Girl)! They are an adorable and extremely talented couple who absolutely made our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party so special. They were extremely easy to work with and traveled over 3 hours to our event! We booked them about 10 days in advance of the event and they learned four new songs that meant the world to my parents. They have so much range in terms of what they can play (they took many on the spot requests from partygoers too) and even unveiled a couple of originals that they wrote. A truly special couple who will light up your party/event if you hire them. We couldn't have been happier and look forward to having them again in the future! Thanks Cody and Alyssa!

We had a 100% outdoor (Covid conscious ) engagement party for our daughter.
The weather did not cooperate. It POURED off and on throughout the party. Although we had big tents the rain was a big issue. Guy meets gal was AMAZING not only in their performance but they had to move their set up three Times to accommodate the rain. They did it seamlessly with out skipping a beat.
Everyone LOVED the music and they were great to work with- especially in a difficult Environment!

GMG connected with this group and had them all up and dancing (including the parents!) ... great mix of songs! They made the evening perfect and something we will all remember forever!

Cody and Alyssa are not only amazing people but their music is outstanding. They are professional, easy to work with, flexible. They chose the perfect songs throughout my gathering. My wedding was originally going to be 200+ and due to current events was cut to 25. They made this intimate gathering magical and I can never thank them enough. They even learned our favorite songs. Couldnt imagine this day without them. I cant thank you enough!

We’re absolutely in love with Guy Meets Girl and their unique and incredible talent! Not only we’re they excited to prepare a few special songs for our big day, their genuine love for their craft and for one another blew us away. While our wedding was postponed due to COVID and our contract stated they would keep the deposit, they called us to tell us they’d like to return it! We wouldn’t consider a wedding or first dance without THEM performing it for us based on their sheer talent alone but to be so kind and genuine ... simply put, these two are the BEST!

We were so happy with Guy Meets Girl at our recent Business Party. They provided a great song list as the background to our celebration. Only wish I could have spent more time enjoying each and every song. Following them on Instagram and will try to enjoy their music again.

They were just a perfect fit for our surprise birthday party! Although my husband tried to steal the microphone a few times they were ok with that, which I really appreciate:) Great voices, great personalities! Guy Meets Girl was great! We really enjoyed having Cody and Alyssa play at our annual neighborhood event and had about 300 attend. They each have such beautiful voices and the harmonies were wonderful. Great to work with, very professional

Guy meets girl were such an amazing duo to work with! They came and played at our corporate reception and did just a phenomenal job. They showed up about an hour before the reception started, so they gave themselves plenty of time to set-up and were extremely punctual. Alyssa had to leave about an hour into the show, so they even brought in a third person to accompany the duo and then take over when Alyssa had to leave.

The type of music they played was mostly Indie and covers... Perfect for our reception and perfect for weddings. We cant wait to do another event in Chicago and use them again!

I hired Cody and Alyssa to play for a private event (my 50th birthday party), which took place in my personal residence. Both were very professional, communicative and flexible in advance of the event. During the event all my guests raved how talented, fun and accommodating they were. They even sang "Happy Birthday" to me. :)
I would highly recommend them for any public or private event! You won't be disappointed!

Not kidding, this couple is beyond talented and plays so many really great songs. We will be having them back as much as possible at The Lodge on 64 in St. Charles.
